Customs / Request to purchase Lemon Drop and sea pony customs

I am not currently requesting for any to be made but if anyone has made any and wants to sell their work let me know. I love adding new LD and sea pony customs to my collection/army. This can include drawings and plush. I try to watch these boards, Etsy, eBay, and f/b sales for them but I thought posting this announcement would make it easier.

Also, I am interested in ideas for future customs - especially of Lemon Drop. Currently I have a twinkle eye mom and baby, a Halloween inspired adult, a puff haired version, and a couple of rehairs with different colors.

If there is any interest I am selling off my collection of Calico Critters and Sylvanian Families animals on eBay. Message me for links. I have to support my Lemon Drop army!!!

Families include elephants, sheeps, pigs, koalas, kangaroos, and meerkats.

Pony Corral / Re: If Hasbro would bring back all G1 Ponies...
« on: June 21, 2016, 07:26:42 PM »
I personally have no problems with them bringing the originals back. I prefer the G1s to the FiM line and love finding retro styles in stores. I would buy up all the different sea ponies in a heart beat. I think it would actually drive the market up with people wanting to own as many as possible and in new condition. For me it would not lessen the value of the original ponies at all. Obviously serious collectors would stick to the vintage ponies and eBay would be a nightmare trying to determine which are originals and rereleases.

You could make a spreadsheet with columns that help to group your collection better. Makes searching easier as well.

Wanted! / Lemon Drop International Variants or Lemon Drop customs
« on: March 27, 2016, 07:58:51 AM »
I am actively looking for the below listed Lemon Drops. I prefer them to be in great shape, but am interested in seeing what is available. Ebay has not yielded much and a member on a f/b pony page mentioned she bought one of the ponies I am searching for on here. My ebay user name is marblecheshire and I have a 700 positive rating. My facebook user name is CeCe Jay.

Italy:
White body with blue hair
White body with purple hair
Grey body

Greece:
Baby

Spain:
Blue body with yellow hair
Piggy

I would also be interested in seeing what customs or other international ponies members have that are available as there may be variants I am not aware of. I do have a few Greek and Italian versions that are more common to find.

Thanks so much for your help!

Introductions / Re: Hi, Everypony

Thank you all for the warm greetings. I look forward to getting active on here.

@Diamond - I collect any and all marbles. I mainly like new ones that you can find on eBay or in art dealer shops. James Alloway, you can find his marbles on eBay, is currently my favorite artists. I can never bid high enough for his work though. It is truly breathtaking.

My real name is Christina, I am 35 (born on Halloween), and have loved ponies since the 80's. My generation is definitely G1s, but I love all things pony. I have had to narrow my collection down for room and money sake, so I mainly collect Lemon Drops (variants and customs), sea ponies (my favorite is Beachcomber), and Windy/Summer winged ponies.

I also collect marbles (mainly artist made glass ones) and love the Cheshire Cat. My username probably makes more sense now. I currently live in New Market, AL and am expecting a little girl this August. She is my first of hopefully many.  I have been married a little over four years (four years this past Leap Day) and have two dogs, Percy the pug and Duke the 120lb German Shepherd.

I have lived overseas in both England and Germany for three years each. Currently I am working on my second bachelors in IS (information systems). I am employed at a franchise of Hallmark and would love to work for corporate one day. Some of my hobbies include rock hunting, playing soccer, watching Jane Austen inspired films, and singing.
