I've just turned 29 and recently let my MLP obsession resurface. Best decision ever. But if you have to lighten the load, keep that one special girl/guy. There's always the chance to collect again later (and have a blast at it!) if nostalgia strikes. And if ponies other than the ones that were actually "yours" are acceptable replacements (they often have to be then there's no harm in letting them into the field until you establish a permanent corral. It's cheaper than a storage locker

OK, so this is Seattle? I'm a Portland Pony and that's so far away (saying the girl who just did the Pony fair in Nashville) so two things:
1. Any Portland Ponies want to carpool to Seattle?
2. Any Portland Ponies want to figure out if there is anything happening in Portland/make it happen?

I would like the SDCC pony to be either G1/G3 size, or Fashion Style size. I think brushable size is too small, and I hope that this pony is not that size. She sure looks like a unique mold to me. I think the DJ from last year was a unique mold too. For sure the Spike is a unique mold. I guess that is where the cost went.
I don't think that there is anything wrong with the idea or the design, which is cute and unique, and definitely fits the SDCC theme, as well as showcasing Hasbro's current pony line (which is sort of the point of SDCC).
However, it really just doesn't look like a $50 set. Maybe the packaging will be super fabulous? I'm pretty sure with the $50 price tag, this is not a pony that will sell out of the Hasbrotoyshop fast. She'll still probably be more popular than blinged out DJ though.
I totally agree. I would think that those who have a line of exclusives are going to have serious combo-breaker syndrome this year. It's just...not...the way... it's a chhhaaaaangliiiiiiing!!!! Not for me either. I am sad-glad I didn't preorder it with a ticket

Hey, do you still have you ticket for sale? I finally got all set to go with plane, hotel, rental car, things I wanted to have worked out first, but tickets are not available online anymore! Any package will do and I'm hoping I can get all the special fair-related stuff too. I'm not looking to have a booth, but other than that, the bigger the better! PM me!
