Hi there!

Well, where to start, MLP was a big part of my childhood, I still love it to bits, and I've kept my toys until now (I'm nearly 28 ) but it's time for them to go to a new home before we potentially emigrate. I've kept my favourite pony, but there are quite a few now looking for loving new homes!

Welcome to the Arena! Thats a shame you are selling your collection but its a great idea that you are keeping your favourites! What an exciting change in life to be emigrating! I wish you luck and fun wherever you are moving to and I am sure you will find lots of new homes for your ponies on here.

I've just turned 29 and recently let my MLP obsession resurface. Best decision ever.

But if you have to lighten the load, keep that one special girl/guy. There's always the chance to collect again later (and have a blast at it!) if nostalgia strikes. And if ponies other than the ones that were actually "yours" are acceptable replacements (they often have to be then there's no harm in letting them into the field until you establish a permanent corral. It's cheaper than a storage locker

I have to say I am a little sad, I sent off Bobbie and Hip Hop yesterday to their new homes and felt that twinge of regret! But I know they are going to homes were they'll be loved.

I have to say the pony I kept is Secret Star of the Secret surprise ponies - I remember going to Woolworths to buy her with my pocket money/birthday money that I'd saved up, and she was my favourite pony! So she'll be staying with me

I sent lemon drop off to her new home today and that did pull at my heart strings, she was one of my very first ponies <3

Welcome to the Arena!!! That's so nice that you have kept your collection that long. Please hang onto your special pony. I'm almost 40 and in less than a month I will have my 'grail' pony as they say, the first pony I ever got way back in the early 80's.

I sent off a few and I just tried not to think about it...they were in trade for some other lovely ponies I didn't have enough of so it's going to be ok. I always wonder if I did the right thing and if I'll regret it later!
