I wish we had thrift stores here selling ponies for $1! back home they do, but you rarely get ponies. Here in the city, you find more, but they go for $3-$4. Mind you, I did get a little dangles the other week for 50c. But she's got pink something or other all over her NDS, and a cute little haircut. But G1 babies are so HTF here, I was freakin' estatic!

There are heaps of people who only want the ponies, and sell the cards and bags on ebay for next to nothing. Usually there are complete sets on there all the time. Just buy the US release cards and bags and have yourself all of both, without all the effort!

I'm seriously additional memory shopping in preparation for this app... I'm a bit of an app junkie already lol..... can't wait for the android version, there's already pony pics on my phone for when I'm shopping, lol, this will make things a million times easier!

My bane will probably shock most people but... accessories!! With the exception of Big Brother hats and Rockin Beat guitars I hate accessories!! I just received 3 FS G4s and the first thing I did... pulled off their annoying accessories 
That's one of the greatest things about the MLP community - there's so many collectors who enjoy different things, and just about anything can find a home here - there are literally dozens of accessory collectors.

Hopefully that means we'll have them in Australia soon too! I wasn't going to buy the G4's, and now I've relented and have to catch up... Just chasing Dewdrop Dazzle now from the 2011 singles set, just got all the others as the wedding stuff was coming out, boy was that a job and a half! Also wasn't going to get the glimmer wings, but have now decided just the originals, I don't want every variation of the mane six or any other pony. All we seem to have is the glimmer wings, playsets and the wedding mane six.

I'll probably actually say it.. or if I tell hubby, he'd definitely say it!! God I hate those market stalls like that. Not to mention when they've got the pony with the wrong playset, and refuse to separate.. I've got that whole thing I bought brand new at home you horrid person, now give me what I want! =P I'm going to get all of Summer's books with my tax refund... I've always wanted them, but spent my money on actual ponies.. as hubby is getting a little testy on ponies of late, I'll buy pony books instead. He's gonna flip when my next two shipments arrive, LOL!

My ponies get a big clean-up and then if their hair is repairable, I'll give it a go. I don't do rehairs, or sculpts or the like, mostly because I'm useless, but partly because I'd rather a pony be beautiful for who she is... her scars are just like mine - experiences in life that mean something and create personality. Perfection is boring!

My personal bane is probably those giant Cabbage Patch fakies with the bad, thin hair and the chunky, hippo-like legs. I'm a fakie fan and I do like some of the Cabbage Patch fakies, but something about those giant ones kind of irritates me. I don't really even know why.
I have one of those, and I use it to teach braiding! Strawberry (as mine is named) is huge, with an easy division between her mane just like MLP, so when my sister-in-law whined at me until I did her horses for horse shows (as well as my own, boy did I get cranky) I decided enough was enough. "Girl, take this massive hippo-esque pony and learn to braid!" She's a fab educator - SIL still can't braid to save herself on real horses, but Strawberry looks great and at least she gets the concept now....

My pony bane is people who sell used ponies for ridiculous prices..!
I'm going to the markets tomorrow, and no doubt, I'll run across dozens of g3s. I love g3's and will get all excited, and then will ask the price. They usually run at about $3-4, and I'm happy to pay that for one that is nice, or will clean up nicely, considering that with shipping, I usually have to pay about $5 each from here or the tp, or even evilbay for a nice, run-of-the-mill g3 from overseas. But some of the stinky, grubby, downright vandalised ponies for $4-$7... is criminal! Why not put 50c or $1 on them, and have me buy them by the dozen and go to a good home?! Especially when the right person could bring them up decently with a rehair or as a custom...
I had some ponies arrive yesterday from evilbay... urgh. Horrid little grubby, drawn on things, none of which you could see in the pic, and they were described as no major marks. grr. paid a good price for decent ponies, but these three are far from decent! so annoyed. Not as described... just as bad as inflated pricing!

Q1. Aside from the basic information (pony name, generation, colors (mane color, tail color, body color, etc), cutie mark, and purchase date, what other information about the pony do you expect or intend to store in the app?
A:Maybe Country, or variation status - for like pinkie Pie 'IV' rather than just pinkie pie several times, and so that they could be ordered by name AND by country, however you chose at any given time, rather than having to sift through them all to find all of your variations of the same pony, or all of your italians, for instance.
Q2. Do you need to store a photo of the pony in the app? Does your device have a camera?
A: That's a great idea! Yes, I have a camera!
Q3. Do you mind ads showing up? If I put a price on the app, how much are you willing to pay?
A: I agree with other members that for something good I'd pay up to $4.99. Mind you that's AUD, which seems to be dancing around equivelency with USD at the moment, I bought two lots of ponies in 2 days, one was an extra 12 cents, the other was less 62 cents!
Android! Android! I tend to agree with your viewpoint of apple. They're the cool mean kid that everyone just HAS to hang out with because it's cool too, even though everyone really hates them and the restrictions they put on everybody for their own personal gain. Android is more like the pony philosophy, we encourage customisation and creativity!

I'm madly in love with G2's... love that skinny look.. I was a super skinny kid (medical cond.) and I loved the skinny new look. I also loved the SHS style G1's... my fave pony was Ruby lips!
