They're exclusive to Superstore in Canada  I think it's great that they are exclusives to other stores in other countries, means more people can get them. And I LOVE Starbeam Twinkle, she's one of my favorites. My daughter has that set and then I bought another for me just to get Starbeam Twinkle and I sold the rest of the set.

I have every character for G4 but don't collect doubles or different poses. Any doubles of the main 6 get customized For G1 I'd like to complete some sets but there is no way I can collect them all. I have some other collections too and a grumpy hubby that doesn't like clutter so I need to have some limits.

I debox mine because I like to be able to brush their hair and they look nicer to display, plus I don't have the space to display them all boxed. I do keep the International exclusives boxed though. I'm very tempted to debox them too but so far I've been strong and kept them in their boxes. Really though, I'll probably never sell them. I'll save them for my future grandchildren to play with at my house (my 5 year old daughter already has her own G4 collection, lol) or I'll just keep them for myself forever.  so resale value is not a factor for me.

I don't really like the idea of humanizing ponies and I really hate this concept art so far. My 5 year old daughter doesn't like them either. Maybe they'll look better as dolls, time will tell. As far as competing with MH, I don't think they have a chance. MH are so detailed and edgy, these are totally boring and I don't see how they could possibly appeal to teens or even tweens. They look to me like something the younger aged girls could be interested in.

I love so many of my ponies, I'd be so sad to not have them but if I could only keep one pony it would be my NSS Gusty ♥ she's my first childhood pony and will always have a special place in my heart

Great collection! And your childhood ponies are in such great shape! I had a large childhood collection too but they don't look that good. My daughter plays with them now but I am feeling the urge to clean them all up

I think she's pretty hard to find, I had a heck of a time finding mine I agree that customizing the main 6 characters is a better plan since they are in abundance.
