One word: pinterest!  It's so addictive because there's so much fun stuff to pin and, if you ever run out of stuff to pin, you can try making one of the crafts or one of the recipes you pinned. :3

I'm always pinning, feel free to follow me (I think the link is under my avatar but if not my name on there is Jennifer Bridget and I have the brown curly hair and the coral dress haha).

Awesome!  I've been trying to memorize all the dog breeds since I was 7 and I love learning about the history of dogs so I'll definitely enjoy the site! Thanks for posting it! :)

Pony Corral / Displaying All Generations
« on: July 19, 2013, 08:10:11 AM »
I'm re-doing my room and I wound up doing a display of all four generations with two ponies to represent each generation.  It came out like this:

Has anyone else done something like this?  It would be fun to compare.  :)

-Princess Peppermint
-Yesterdaisy
-Fluttershy (even though she's super popular now)
-Brights Brightly (just such a unique name :P)
-Coconut Creme
-Fizzy Pop
-Piccolo
-Desert Rose

Thanks guys!

I did my first run this morning and it was great!  I worked up a bit of a sweat and I was in a great mood all day.  I took it pretty slow and I was surprised at how much I actually enjoyed it.  My goal is to do it four times a week so I'll be back at it again tomorrow morning! :)  And I don't have a friend to run with right now (especially since I'm running so early :P ) but I hope when I start school again there will be someone in my building who will want to run with me.  :good:

I'm also doing a walk/run in June for my job so hopefully I can do some running! :)

 :frolic:

I'm trying to lose a few pounds before summer and I want to start running tomorrow morning!  I've been contemplating it for a while and I think it could be really beneficial for me.  I'm going to start off small (based on what I saw from this website: <http://www.superskinnyme.com/how-to-run.html>)

Is anyone else a big runner or a beginner or somewhere in between?  Does anyone have any beginner tips?

Any and all advice is appreciated!  :lovey:

Off Topic / Re: do you have tattoos?
« on: March 18, 2013, 05:31:41 PM »
I have one tattoo and I'm getting my second soon.  I'll post a pic eventually :P  I know I put it up here when I first got it...it's of a little orange kitty and I got it with one of my best friends from high school.  For my second one, I want to get a leopard butterfly...I saw it once back in the summer on someone's shoulder and I thought that is so me I need it!  (Ironic that it was on someone else! :P )  I want to get it on my left side rib and I'm kind of scared about it hurting terribly because of all the bone there but given the fact that I'll be an attorney in 4 years and I don't want to have tattoos in highly visible places I don't have many choices...plus I love how it looks! My first was also in a bony area (basically on my hipbone) so I've done it before I can do it again, right? :)

Toy Box & Games Cupboard / Wanted: LPS chihuahua!
« on: March 09, 2013, 06:21:06 AM »
Does anyone have one they're willing to sell or trade?  I'm looking for one that's all tan and not fluffy (but fuzzy is fine :P).  I  usually only collect vintage LPS but this is for a special project!

Thanks :)

I played saxophone for years!  I was in marching band in high school and jazz band in college...I was even the president! :P Just recently stopped because I haven't had the time or desire to pick it up again...maybe someday soon... :)

*bump* :)

What do you guys think of the legally blonde pony?  I was also thinking of like a pink leopard print themed pony for the second one but the leopard spots may be way too much detail for my art skills :P

Now I feel a lot better about not finding the chicken and waffles one yet! :P  Still want to try them but its not the end of the world if I don't get to...

I've had ketchup before...amazing!  And the dill pickle pringles were really good too but I haven't seen those in forever.

I agree!  But I still love the bows...maybe a combo of the two? :)

I don't think this has been posted already...if it has I apologize...

Has anyone found the new lays chips yet?  My brother and I have been searching around NY and we haven't found them yet.  I'm dying to try all three flavors!  Apparently they're selling online for obscene prices but I refuse to buy them that way :P

You'll need a sealant to fix the work after its finished. Mod podge or Testors are kind of the standard. When you say messy what do you mean? The best advice I can give you is use many very thin coats for full body repaints, and very small brushes for cutie marks. Let the pony dry really well inbetween coats. Rit dye is the standard in dye I believe you can get it in a wide array of colors at most craft stores and fabric stores.

you're advice explains why mine have been messy in the past :P I only did one re-paint and you could see the brush strokes and it didn't look nice.  thanks :)

What are you planning to do exactly. if we know then we know in what directions to point you. Otherwise you'd just get guesses in the dark advice. which there's nothing wrong with of course. you'd get the basics. but why not zero in on what you want.
or am I just rambling?

that's very true!  I'm trying to figure out exactly what I want to do now.  I think it would be kind of fun and timely to create a legally blonde pony since this will be sort of my art project before I start law school and I love that movie :P  I'll have to do some sketches and figure out exactly what I want her to look like.
