Lion King is my favorite from my childhood, favorite soundtrack too. Although I'm adding Zootopia onto my list because Nick is the best Disney character ever.

Off Topic / Re: Rocky Horror Picture Show Reboot Discussion?
« on: May 20, 2016, 03:50:26 PM »
I don't know that I've ever even seen the original.......I mean it seems like I really should....I just.....Never have.....
I would really recommend seeing it when there's a midnight showing with a shadow cast at a theatre. Most productions are just fans who put it together and charge almost nothing. My local group only charges 11 bucks for a ticket.

Warning though; prepare for an onslaught of highly offensive jokes at midnight showings. It's no-holds-barred when it comes to humor and language. I think it's absolutely hilarious but it's not for everyone. I'm not sure how dirty the UK makes it but the local group does not have any off-limits topics when it comes to dark humor.

I still go to midnight showings with a shadow cast of the original. At one point me and three friends ditched a bad convention to go to a midnight showing of Rocky Horror in the park.

That said, as someone who goes to the showings and would gladly join a shadow cast with more experience? The reboot looks dreadful. The reason RHPS is such a cult classic is because it's an absolutely atrocious movie that's aged super badly. Remaking a bad-on-purpose movie is a really strange move. I'm not knocking on Laverne Cox because she's a great actress, but she will never have the sleaze-factor Tim Curry had.

Thanks so much for Minty! Is it OK if I flip her like this for my sig? I love symmetry.
Missed this! Yes, just flipping is fine, don't need to ask for that. c:

I have her G4 blind bag version, don't remember if I have her G3 version. It's weird when you forget what ponies you do and don't have.

I may take advantage of that offer.... Minty is one of my favorite ponies! Would you be interested in making her? Feel free to deny me since you have already made me an amazing one.
Aw I can't deny a favorite or a classic! Minty it is!

And I felt like making another Hasbro pony so I mashed on "Random Page" on My Little Wiki for the first brushable, which turned out to be Wind Whistler!

She's perfect, thank you! (if it is ok, I would like to come back in a round or two if you are still doing these and request a star for my other OC)
Come back as many times as you want! I work on these in between convention merch and commissions to take breaks.

These are adorable! May I please have one based off on Ponyta?
Surprised Ponyta wasn't already up there! Good idea! Mind if I put her for public use?

Quick question regarding the idea of the Peacock Pokemon, isn't Ho-oh a peacock?
Or is it a Phoenix?

Its a Ho oh. Like there's an actual mythical bird called a Ho oh.

That's interesting. I wonder if there is a Lugia based legend as well
I've been playing these games for years and never knew Ho-oh was an actual myth
The one mythology theory surrounding Lugia is that it's based on the Shinto god of the sea, Ryujin, who lives at the bottom of the sea in a palace of red and white coral. Shiny Lugia is red and white.

Fire starter for sure, but both legends are so cool I can't choose between them. I'm going to let the version exclusive decide for me.

I don't remember my first pony as a kid. I found a photo of me of what I was about 3 holding Baby Crumpet, one of the SHS, and Brightglow and I remember getting a seapony for Christmas.

My first pony collecting again was blind bag Rainbow Dash back when blind bags were just in the UK and Australia. She was a gift from an LJ community and I still have her. She's probably the most traveled pony I have outside of Signature Pony, went from Australia to Japan to the US.

Done with the latest batch! First ball that popped into my head for Dreamcatcher was a GS Ball.
