Rochelle with some pony pals:

So pretty! I love how the background is all blurry and Rochelle and her pony friends are so clear!

I went on holiday to a relative's house recently and Lagoona came along too! I took a few photos while I was there, the garden was amazing but there have apparently been a lot of snakes around in the past couple of months so I had to stick with taking photos inside instead.

Do fake flowers count? My garden is very much lacking in real flowers at the current time but I took a nice picture of Lagoona with a flower clock.

Rumours on the grapevine say that Robecca and Venus have been spotted in Queensland, for Aussie fans  :cheer:
That's good news :D
At first I was dying for Robecca and could not care less about Venus but thanks to everyones super pretty pictures I think I actually want Venus more now! There's just something about those eyes...

I really want to get one of those dolls, pull the head off and put it on a MH Doll x)
Those are really cool doll heads! I wonder if they will come to Australia?

Dolls, I'm not a big fan of Cleo as she seems to look the same with every release.
With the show though I really don't like any of them much with the exeption of Toralei. If thats how everyone sees us 16 year old girls (Only makeup, boy, fashion and gossip obsessed) Then excuse my while I go and die of shame :P

Wow Clementine! Operetta is really rocking that hairstyle! :D I like it a lot!
Thanks! If her hair wasn't all sticky and gross I would have kept it that way, I am nearly finished dehairing her at the moment x)

Blegh, My Rochelle, Abbey and Operetta all have glue seepage, I'm worried my Toralei may be showing signs too :( I don't want to have to rehair all of them but at least I was never fond of Opretta's straggly mess anyway and Rochelles hair only really suits her stock and DotD Lagoonas dress so perhaps a hair colour change would not be so bad.
I decided to start with Operetta first but before dehairing her I wanted to have some fun with her hairstyle x) I think she looks so cute with a fringe! It would be nice if they made a version of her with a short bob and a fringe!

I don't get the "It's harder to find things" argument... Isn't it easier to have one dress-ups section then two seperate ones at the opposite ends of the toy section?
It would also be easier for kids to find toys that interest them, if they liked fantasy it would be great to find all the fantasy toys together, if they like plastic animals then those would all be together too.
As a kid my parents supported whatever kind of toys I wanted to play with but I was still too scared to ask for the Harry Potter lego set and the interactive robot dinosaur that I really wanted, I was too scared to go into the blue section.
I really just can't see any negatives about this, it would make it easier for kids to find toys they are interested in and does not alienate anyone or make kids feel "wrong" if they want to get a toy that's typically aimed at the other gender.

Since my camera broke a while ago (about a week before I finished off rehairing my dotd Lagoona) my dad was nice enough to lend me one of his old cameras and because photography is a major hobby of his it was a really great camera! I never got to take any proper pictures of Lagoona so I've finally had the chance to get a couple.

Today while I was out, my mother cleaned my room. Looks like she had some fun with my MH dolls while she was here though because they were all displayed on my bedside table posed and wearing accessories they were not previously x) It's pretty neat because previously she's just rolled her eyes at any collections or even interests of mine. She also bought me new shelves for my ponies and art supplies!

So I was wondering, has anyone used a glue gun when rehairing a monster high and if so how did it work?

Edit:
Took a break between drawing all ponies and did this quick drawing of Rochelle (my favourite monster)

I know there's a lot of anatomy errors and such here, it was just a quick drawing

It's really beautiful!
A quick drawing? Haha, something even close to that would take me days!
