well the other thing I can suggest is that you put them on inside out and pin them to your desired fit as evenly on both sides as possible, and then sew them up.
oh yeaaaaaaah, that's an idea. Thankyou xD

what you do is grab another pair of jeans that fit you well and turn them inside out. do the same with your new pair and lay the pair that fits well on top of the ones that dont. Trace the seam where you want to alter and then take it to your machine and voila! Pants that fit you perfectly
that's the problem, i have none that fit me well xD Post Merge: May 04, 2013, 09:55:28 PMSounds like you have the wrong style of jeans for your body type. If they are all baggy in the hip/thigh area, you need a longer inseam. It's hard to alter that sort of thing though... Take them into a tailor's shop and see what they can do!
it's just the thigh area and hte calf, I was wandering aboutin them today and the waist is quite firm and fit nicely but the legs? It's like I need balloon legs! and I think the other poster is right, I probably picked the wrong type for me. They're probably made for longer legs, even though I picked the short variety and ugh. I just don't want to cough up $100 for skinny jeans orz

there's nothing you can do; this is the plasticiser leaking out. washing them delays it for a little bit, but she will continue to be sticky until it is all gone and her plastic is hard.
ohm how long does that take and how can i speed it up?

visitors can't see pics , please register or loginSo I have this one (not this particular one, but like, my own. The photo is off google), and she's very sticky. (similar to another one I have) and is there ANY way to get rid of it? I've wash her, acetoned her and everything. Nothing. She'll be sticky again in two weeks. Is there a way to save her or is she a goner?

Sooooooo I caved and bought a pair of these visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginFrom torrid... and, even though I chose the short option, it's still too long, so I'm all baggy in the butt and upper thighs- Although perfect about my hips/waist. What can I do to mend/alter these jeans? It really makes me see how short my legs really are! And I'm like, 162cm tall! They aren't really returnable, I couldn't really afford to ship it back there and then back here... Especially since I had them shipped to a friend and then to me xDD! So, what do guys? It's nothing like the picture, serves me right for buying jeans online, I've ALWAYS had a problem with jeans. I don't know why that didn't occur to me when I ordered it ROFL!
