From torrid... and, even though I chose the short option, it's still too long, so I'm all baggy in the butt and upper thighs- Although perfect about my hips/waist. What can I do to mend/alter these jeans? It really makes me see how short my legs really are! And I'm like, 162cm tall! They aren't really returnable, I couldn't really afford to ship it back there and then back here... Especially since I had them shipped to a friend and then to me xDD!

So, what do guys? It's nothing like the picture, serves me right for buying jeans online, I've ALWAYS had a problem with jeans.  I don't know why that didn't occur to me when I ordered it ROFL!

I usually cut my jeans and hem them on the machine for length.  However when it comes to baggie problems in the butt area...that is a  whole other animal and expensive to fix with the alter folks.

That sounds like an expensive fix.  I dont know too much but I do know my sister recently had similar problems with a dress and her front.  She ended up paying more for alterations then the dress was worth o.o

what you do is grab another pair of jeans that fit you well and turn them inside out.  do the same with your new pair and lay the pair that fits well on top of the ones that dont.  Trace the seam where you want to alter and then take it to your machine and voila!  Pants that fit you perfectly :)

Sounds like you have the wrong style of jeans for your body type.  If they are all baggy in the hip/thigh area, you need a longer inseam.  It's hard to alter that sort of thing though...  Take them into a tailor's shop and see what they can do!

it's just the thigh area and hte calf, I was wandering aboutin them today and the waist is quite firm and fit nicely but the legs? It's like I need balloon legs! and I think the other poster is right, I probably picked the wrong type for me. They're probably made for longer legs, even though I picked the short variety and ugh. I just don't want to cough up $100 for skinny jeans orz

well the other thing I can suggest is that you put them on inside out and pin them to your desired fit as evenly on both sides as possible, and then sew them up.

I was going to suggest what joey said.  I have a long torso and short legs, and I always have to end up hemming my jeans even if I get the right length for my height.

Yes, if you are looking for skinny jeans, then turn them inside out and mark -  I suggest you stop at the knee and mid thigh to make sure you aren't going TOO skinny!
