Can't post pics unfortunately as all my ponies are in storage. One day I will put all my families together for pics. Majesty was a boy, the king. Applejack was a boy, and baby Applejack was the son. Can't remember who was the mum, have a feeling he had a sister too. Gusty, Starshine and Skydancer, Magic Hat, Sunlight, Moonstone, all boys. They were pretty much all married with kids. Think there was more but need to reassemble the families to remember properly.  I love this topic! could reminisce all day. Luv Jules xx

I like making my ponies into families. Me and sister started doing that as children and I still do it now. Need to update though as have bought loads of new ponies but not had chance to.
I especially love baby ponies.

Definitely Posey's "trotting" pose. Even as a child I really loved it, I only had Posey in that pose back then. I have a few now and love them all. I would have customs made in that pose! Jules x

I remember my mum letting me choose my first pony, which was cherries jubilee. My mum thought she was lovely too! I think I must have been between 3 and 4 as I remember being in the shop. So that was '85 to '86. It was so easy to pick ponies up from the market second hand for 50p or £1, I wish I'd bought more! We didn't have many from new, only a handful. Between me and my sister we had about 30 ponies in varying condition. I've still got them all. We were very careful with them!
Then in march 2007 I bought masquerade from ebay, can't remember why I decided to look for ponies. So she restarted me buying. And now I have over a hundred, including the ones from my childhood. :-) all g1.

I just collect G1s but I sometimes buy other gens as presents for people, mostly g3.
I wouldn't even bother buying something mint in box cos would open it! So I leave the mibs for those who would want to keep them that way. :-D
I prefer to not have ponies with hair cuts but I have bought them that way, basically I haven't got enough money to be too picky! Most of my ponies are in "very well loved" condition! I only buy one of each, and only go for ones I like the look of ie I love rainbow haired ones but don't like beddy bye eyes for example. That's why I find it hard to pick a favourite cos I really love all the ones I have. I think my collection would be classed as small, its about 80 plus I have some recent purchases on the way, and I love all the ones I have! :-D
I've also collected some accessories, certain pony wear outfits I love and quite a few other bits, but the same things apply, wouldn't want to buy them mip cos would open them!
I would love to be able to display my collection instead of keeping them stored in boxes. Maybe one day :-)

I have 88 and thought I was doing well! I've added to my childhood collection, of under 30, ones that I remembered wishing I had as a child, which was a lot! I remember in the my little pony magazine there used to be pictures of girls with their collections, I was so jealous of them! They all had loads more than me...into the hundreds. It was soexciting to look at them tho, and decide which ones I'd love to own.

I would love to have her. As a child I always thought Tootsie and Tutti Frutti were friends together, I have since bought Tutti Frutti but not Tootsie, she misses her! I will rectify this as soon as I'm able :-)
