Hi,
I'm looking for a NIB g3 pony to give to my two year old this Christmas. They are her favourite generation  :) literally any pony, any colour, although she particularly likes blue, purple and yellow. We already have Toola Roola, Amberlocks and Rainbow Dash. TIA everyone!

Price Check Archives / Price Check on 10 ponies please
« on: April 24, 2016, 11:54:55 AM »
Hello! I'm sealing off the last of my childhood collection, so prices would be much appreciated.
If anyone is interested in any of these also, please feel free to PM me (I've not put photos on here but I can send some).

Swirly Whirly- Perfect symbols, hair very slightly dry. Still has her smell and cheek blush.

Love-In-A-Mist- Tiny amount of glue visible on her neck. Slightly dry hair. Very small amount of tail rust (I think, it's minute). Still has cheek blush.

Baby Apple Blossom- No flaws that I can see.

Bow Tie- Slightly squishy body. Dry tail.

Secret Surprise Star Dazzle- No body flaws, she looks lovely. Hair pretty much in original curl and is very light pink. She comes with her key and her mechanism works fine.

Baby Tabby- Hair is very dry but still in original (very tight) curls. Has a pale brown mark on one symbol, it could probably be removed but I don't know how to. No other flaws that I can see!

Baby Berrytown- Very very pale pink mark on her neck and possible glue mark on one side (might be something else that just needs cleaning off though). Very bright cheek blush and good hair!

Baby Licorice- No flaws on her body, symbols and cheeks/eyes really nice and bright. Mane could probably just do with being re-set but hair is still pretty much in it's natural curl.

Baby Sunset- No flaws on body, still has cheek blush and bright symbols. Hair has just gone a bit straight- it looks like she's been caught in a strong wind :)

Baby Ballerina Soft Steps- No body flaws. Hair is pretty good, unfortunately she has had a hair cut on the front bit so it is a little tuft though.

EDIT: sorry, I found two G2 babies as well

Baby Jewel- No body flaws, still has both eye crystals. Symbol is good. Hair is a bit flyaway and the tinsel has been pulled out, just little tufts left.

Baby Flora- Good bright symbols, both eye jewels although one is slightly deep set. Good hair but needs re-setting!

Apologies for the lack of photos, I'm doing this quickly before I put my daughter to bed. Thank you in advance for the help :)

Toy Box & Games Cupboard / Selling Large G1 LPS collection
« on: August 02, 2014, 09:57:46 AM »
Hello everyone! I've been directed here from the MLP arena by a kind member :)
I'm looking to sell my large childhood collection of G1 LPS. It is currently in storage so I have used http://littlestpetshop.50webs.com/ to ID what I know I have, and added the flaws I can remember.
If anyone is interested in this lot- I think due to the sheer amount I'd rather not sell everything seperately- I can get it all down and take some pictures, but they are in crates so I don't really want to do it first and find out there is no chance I'll sell any of it! (I am new here but have feedback on the MLP arena where I am also duckie, and am teatimeyay on ebay). I am located in the West Midlands, UK.

Just to add, I am aware that some of these sets are rare. If anyone would like to buy the rare sets singularly, I am happy to do that for good offers :)

Here is what I have-

Bashful Bunny ***SOLD***

Other Sets
Tug n’ Play Beethoven

Care Centre Playset
Zoo Playset

Please get in touch with offers, I will not be unreasonable with selling them I just want them to go to a good home and get some money to put towards driving lessons :)

On a side note, I also have relatively large G1 Polly Pocket, Teeny Tiny Families, Animal In My Pocket (all the Puppies plus some others), MLP and My Beautiful Horses that I'm also looking to sell. If anyone is interested in any of these, please drop me a PM? Thank you :)

Pony Corral / has anyone seen this preloved ad?
« on: January 21, 2014, 03:35:09 AM »
[please move if this is in the wrong section]

there's an ad on preloved right now, someone is selling 12 baby ribbons and hearts in "original sealed packaging" for £7 each

is this a good price? and would it make sense for someone to have this many?
just curious as i'd like to buy one but no idea if this is kosher or not

Off Topic / Moving to Australia from the UK- anyone done this?
« on: November 25, 2013, 01:29:50 AM »
My bf and I are renting at the moment but in January will be looking to get a mortgage. However we're also considering the possibility of heading over to Australia, maybe for a year at first but with the potential to stay permanently. We have checked and we do both qualify for skilled worker visas (I'm a teaching assistant/nursery worker and he works in IT).
I just wondered if anyone had done this before and had any tips or advice? We are making a list of everything to consider/research etc. and if we did choose to give it ago it wouldn't be until Summer 2014 at the earliest. But it's good to start planning :)
Thanks in advance!

Off Topic / weight loss buddy anyone?
« on: October 30, 2013, 12:17:49 AM »
i think someone else posted something similar a while back? basically i'm kickstarting my weight loss! i got right down and reached my plateau over last year but due to work and moving away from my local pool have put it back on and then some :(
right now i do an hours cycling a day plus walking and am using a calorie counter app which caps me at 1200 calories per day (without exercise). i'm looking at losing about 13lbs until my plateau, and then maybe another 10. hopefully the 13lbs will be gone by january :)
if this sounds similar to something anyone else is doing and would like a buddy that would be awesome :) a bit of support never hurt anyone!

Off Topic / Bunny owners- share your pics!
« on: September 22, 2013, 08:26:54 AM »
I'd love to see everyone's bunnies :)

Here is my boy Rufus- he's four and I really don't know what breed/colour he is haha, so if anyone knows please tell me! The photos don't do him justice, his eyes are actually half brown and half blue and make him look cross all the time, bless him :)
He's a house bun and we rescued him in April. It's been a rocky road- it took him a while to build a bond and he was very naughty- but he's settled into a lovely boy and it's so much fun having him. Aside from chewing our sofas he likes rolling toilet rolls and his treat ball around, climbing on my back and watching TV. He likes sitting on the back of the sofa and looking out the window but we had to make it off-limits as he kept weeing on it/my boyfriend every time they were on it together

Here's some pics, can't wait to see yours!

The Dollhouse / CPK- type doll ID... again?
« on: February 25, 2013, 09:31:55 AM »
i'm sure I already posted this a while back but I can't find the original topic :\ help me ponies!

i'm looking for a doll that was basically a knock-off CPK. pretty sure my mum bought them from pound land for me around 1995, so i doubt they had proper names.
they came in two sizes- one size was about the same as the fairy CPK dolls, and the others were exactly the same size as the small ones. I managed to find a picture of the smaller ones on ebay (auction has now ended)-

http://i.ebayimg.com/t/CABBAGE-PATCH-DOLLS-SPROUTS-MINI-3-DIFFERENT-DOLLS-DRESSED-5-TALL-V-G-C-/00/s/MTYwMFgxMjAw/z/NWEAAMXQbjxRDuuL/$(KGrHqN,!i0FC+ybfduRBRDuuKsuT!~~60_12.JPG

so i'm looking for the larger ones! they had dark or light skin, brown or blue eyes, had eyes that blinked, and were all bald. they had lovely cute smiley faces and all the outfits were different. any help/pictures, or if anyone has any for sale i would be very interested :) thanks!

Off Topic / christmas present ideas?
« on: November 25, 2012, 10:34:14 AM »
once again i am ridiculously skint for christmas :( just looked at my bank balance and almost cried!
i've got most of my presents done thank goodness... but nothing for my boyfriend. i've been so stuck for ideas and now i'm low on money i have even less ideas :( can anyone help?
if it's any use, we've been together since april but it's definitely serious (getting our own house in may) and i've already exhausted the joke-y presents and clothes for his birthday. all the xbox games and dvds he wants he buys himself. and we've made a scrapbook together so that's out. i was thinking a book, but he's still reading game of thrones so i doubt he'd ever get round to reading it!
if anyone has any ideas, bought or home made (something crafty would be nice, but i can't think of anything he'd get any use out of) would be really really appreciated. i want to get him something special as it's our first christmas together :( thanks guys.
