I moved recently, and one of my suitcases was for misc stuff- mostly cables for my computer. Without thinking about it, I tossed my two favorite girls on top and now both have mysterious black stains. I've already tried soap and water, a regular school eraser, 70% alcohol, and magic eraser. Is there anything else I could try? Not sure if sunfading would work as neither are white. I suppose this is a PSA to always ziplock your ladies before traveling! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or login

Hey all! I've been moving frequently lately and need to downsize my stuff, especially toys. If you like what you see, please make an offer (in USD) via a note here or by email at [email protected]. Everything must go! I'm willing to sell in lots! All items come from a smoke-free home, and many of the G1s have had their metal tail bit replaced with a zip tie. All G1s have been cleaned by myself. I can ship anywhere as long as you are willing to cover the shipping costs to your country. I'm in Michigan. I accept payment through Paypal, and will ship items within 5 business days upon payment.
Please don't hesitate to ask if you need a close up photo of any item. Thanks for looking! I also have a G4 regular Applejack in great condition that I will add to any package for free. Might be a weird place to ask, but it seems like we have a lot of diversity here and I'd give it a shot Is anyone here a dual citizen of the USA/Canada, or someone who lived in the US at one point and became a naturalized Canadian? I recently visited Vancouver to be with my boyfriend and discovered that I absolutely LOVE it there- the climate, the mountains, the culture, everything- and I'm wanting to move there. Through all the research I've done I've determined that it's a lot more complex than it seems to move if you're just an average joe and not a health care professional or other in demand worker- I'm just an artist, and while there is a huge industry for video games and animation there it won't be easy to get a job offer. I suppose my question is, if anyone has successfully moved- how did you go about it? Did it take a lot of back and forth from home to your destination, and did you choose to have a Canadian lawyer present your immigration case or do it all yourself? Any insight or stories would be very helpful!

Always follow your gut feeling when it tells you you should drop by the thrift store- I generally just browse for chicken and carousel horse related stuff, and found this precious ceramic instead! It was filthy, as if it had been sitting in someone's garage- but hey, cleaning is half the fun, isn't it? visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or login

It's been a while since I've posted here! I went to our local weekly flea market today with only a couple of quarters in my pocket- lo and behold I found this sitting on a stack for only 25 cents! It's in pretty nice condition, no tears or crayon marks! I can scan it if anyone wants me to- not sure if it's a common one or what. visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Hello all, I have a question. I'm making a custom of my fanpony out of a baity Sprinkles and was going to have an online lasercutting service make an airbrushing stencil for the symbol so I don't have to attempt cutting tiny pieces with an xacto knife. Question is, how big do you think I should have it cut? I don't have a ruler precise enough to measure how big the G1's symbols are. This is the design I need cut: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginHas anyone airbrushed symbols on using a stencil? How did it go?

I bought a pack of curlers at Sally's Beauty Supply yesterday and have been going nuts curling the hair on my ponies. The results have been spectacular- much better than the straw and bobby pin method. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginHere's Scoops and Surprise showing off their new, fluffy 'dos! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginBrilliant Bloom and Wigwam have had a nice spa day. So, show me ponies with curls! Fluffy, ringlets, or Pinkie-tier frizz- it doesn't matter.

Summer is here, and so are the garage/yard/boot sales! My friend Jae scored all of these for me at a quarter a piece. I was so excited to see many of my favorites in the bunch, all of which I do not own yet! I was so excited this weekend to find a Build a Bear Pinkie at our flea market! (As well as a G1 Bowtie plush) She was super nasty. My sister and I thought her hair would be unsalvageable. She also had a few holes, like she had been reduced to a dog toy. Poor thing! My sister patched up the holes for me and removed the voicebox (Which I discovered you can open and re-record a new message...hehehe) visitors can't see pics , please register or login(This was AFTER combing through it for a while...) I combed and conditioned her hair for a few hours and finally threw her in the wash with a batch of clothes. Once dry, we let our hair straightener do the rest visitors can't see pics , please register or loginAnd today I finally gave her those signature curls! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI'm so happy I found her. She's found a home at last!

Hey everyone! I just wanted to show off the ponies I'm restoring. I'm an illustrator, so the idea of painting on these was very exciting. Hope you enjoy! Everything is acrylic sealed with Mod Podge unless otherwise noted. Before: Moondancer I got this sweet girl from babystargazer. Her body and hair were lovely. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginAfter: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginI bought some glitter glue at JoAnne Fabrics so I didn't have to buy every color glitter known to man, but I think a finer particle size would have worked better. Oh well, I'm pretty happy with it. Now I just have to get that horrible pink spot on her rump! Moonstone is next.

Hey everyone! I've been scouring eBay for bait ponies lately and wondered if any of you have used a sniping program to win your bids. I found one called https://www.myibidder.com - it even has a tablet version - and wanted to know if anyone has used it with good or bad results. Or perhaps you know of a better app?

Hey everyone, Mellowhen here. You can just call me Hen, or Lindsay (doesn't matter)
My best friend recently got me into watching the FiM show, so I was mildly interested for a while, but just a few days ago a beat up Quarterback pony in a bin at the thrift store begged me to take him home. Curious, I started researching pony restoration- then collectables- and now I am here, completely immersed in these little taffy-colored hoofbeasts. I'm here to pick up some restoration techniques and learn about the history of the series- I'm particularly interested in the first generation of ponies, which are absolutely adorable in my eyes.
So with that out of the way, I'm a senior in art college in Detroit (CCS), studying animation and game design. I'm a illustrator and 3D modeller by nature. (You can find me on deviantART as mellowhen or FurAffinity as kittygurl521)
I'm also an avid Pokemon player and Animal Crossing nut, so let me know if you want to battle or visit my town!
