Pony Corral / Basic Fun Ponies, keeping them MIB or opening?

Recently found Surprise, which was unexpected. I've been eyeing her though because that hair color and the possibility of staining. Likely will end up unboxing her because of that. But it got me wondering as to what you all are doing with yours. Are you keeping them in their boxes? Opening them to display / photograph? A mix of the two depending upon the pony?

Pony Corral / Backdrops for photos, what do you favor?

Outdoor photos are always lovely, but sometimes the weather just isn't agreeable to it. So what else do you like using as backdrops for your pony photos? Know some use cardstock or scrapbooking paper. For those of you who do are there certain ones you find work better (brand or otherwise)? Aware that anything can be become a backdrop. :) What are your favorite things to use for your pony pictures?

Customs / Any info on this G1 rainbow themed custom?

I was gifted this lovely G1 custom from family earlier this year. Absolutely smitten with her design. Rainbows are right up there with anything starry themed for me, so this girl has become an instant favorite. Sadly no one could tell me who customized her or if she has a name. Would love to know if anyone knows who did customize this beauty or if she was given a name originally. I've been calling her Rainbow Connection. :)

Also wondering if anyone has any ideas to help her to stand or something she could use to prop herself up? She can't keep Skippity Doo's stand. She sort of seemed like she wanted to stick to the stand for the two minutes I had her using it to get the above picture.

I know there's Cupcake (G1 & G3), as well as Cherry Sweet and Mrs. Cake. Pretty sure there are others though, drawing a complete blank as to who else. Anyone? I'd love to see pictures of all your cupcake ponies too. :D

Is there a difference between the German Show Stable and the second edition Show Stable? Some way in which to distinguish which is which? Did the German Show Stable only come with one sticker so it would say Pony Haus on it?

At pinkkittywinks' suggestion posting this here as it is more playset / accessory based. Did ask in the Nirvana area too. :)

Pony Corral / Lullabye Nursery ... is there a difference for the version from France?

Other than the My Little Pony on the front of the nursery being in French is there any other difference between the version from France and the US or UK? Curious if there are any other differences or if it is simply the writing on the front of the nursery. Thank you. :)

Pony Corral / Pony related Tumblrs?

Have happened across a few pony related tumblrs. There's a lot of other things popping up though while searching. :blink: Looking for work safe, family friendly pony tumblrs to follow. Doesn't have to be strictly photos or art. Any gen is fine. :)

Not sure who here I may have already followed (had a couple of tumblrs bookmarked for ages before making one myself). Some art and gifs from others are / will be reblogged too.
