Ok, as far as I know this pony is one of a kind in the collecting community. I've never seen or even heard of another in this color scheme. Presenting Baby Firefly with a purple body & magenta hair: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginThis was the last pony that I was purchasing from my friend Helen before she passed away. After visiting her a few times last year, I always had to pass up buying this pony. Last winter we were emailing back & forth about purchasing her. We had agreed on a price & were discussing payment, and then I didn't hear from her again. Later on her daughter got in touch with me to help sell part of her collection, and I was able to buy this pony & pay her family for it. So its kind of bittersweet, but I will remember how excited she was to show me this pony for the first time. ...and no, she is not for sale. This purple Baby Firefly came boxed with a blue buggy. In a separate package she has a pillow & blanket. There are no accessories in the bag with the pony herself (other Greek babies have a bottle, necklace, brush, ribbon, & Greek booklet). Her symbols are dark, metallic magenta much like Greek Twilight which leads me to believe she came out of the same factory that made the Unicorn & Pegasus set (I think it's been said that the collectors pose ponies & babies were made at one factory, while the Unicorn & Pegasus series & Rainbow ponies were made at another factory). She was purchased along with a bunch of other MOC & MIB Greeks from the ebay seller who had tons of them back around 2003-2004. My friend was a long-time collector with a particular interest in rare variations, and she said she had never seen another like her.

I'm just wondering if Anyone else is having trouble printing postage from Paypal for eBay items? I haven't sold in about 2 months & I see that the postage printing set up has changed. I printed 2 postage labels yesterday & they came out the same size as always. Today I printed out postage & it came out less than half of its normal size. I haven't changed anything with the printer settings, so I'm wondering if it's a Paypal/eBay thing or something weird going on with my computer. Anyone else have this happen?

Hi everyone, I'm a little late in posting this, but hopefully those of you with kids understand how hard it is to get anything done when you first bring your new baby home, lol! Hi everyone, Just wanted to send a quick note that I won't be around much for a little while. My little boy was born late Monday night, May 21st. Between getting used to life with a newborn & my recovery taking longer than usual due to a pre-existing medical issue, I don't have much time for anything. I don't owe anyone anything as far as packages to send out, but I do need to reply to people on a few finished transactions & leave feedback. I'll get to you all as soon as I can. Thank you for understanding.

Hi everyone, I'm looking for advice on selling a few custom ponies. I'm selling a bunch of ponies on behalf the family of a friend who passed away. In the collection there are several customs. I don't know the artists or any details about them aside from what I can obviously see & describe. What's the most appropriate way to go about selling these? I was thinking of listing them on ebay with low starting bids & let potential buyers decide the value. Is there anything else I should do or know about selling someone else's artwork? Thanks for your advice.

Is there any way to NOT accept Paypal e-checks as an Ebay payment? I've been selling a lot in the last few months, and more & more buyers are paying via e-checks. I have payment required within 3 days of the end of the auction on all of my listings, however with the e-check the buyer may send it right away, but it takes several days to a week or more to clear. I just got an international e-check that may not clear until April 20th. Sorry to vent... it's just getting a bit frustrating when half of my incoming funds are on hold.

I didn't want to post about this until the auction ended, but did anyone catch the auction for a MIB Nesthackchen Baby in an English language box?! Since these babies are only ever referred to by their German names, I was quite shocked to see one turn up in an English box. I saved the picture from the auction: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginSo it appears that the translations are as follows... Nesthackchen Babies = Nursery Babies yellow pony, Baby Schlummerlein = Baby Bye Byes blue pony, Baby Wuerfelchen = Baby Playful pink pony, Baby Blubberchen = Baby Bubbles So now that we have seen an English box, in what countries or regions where these ponies available (other than Germany, as previously known)? Also, congrats to the winner! I hope this rare find went to someone in the community. -------------------- edit to add: Oops! There's already a thread in the corral: http://mlparena.com/mlp/index.php/topic,290975.0.html

I have a bunch of original flutter wings looking for new homes. I also have some of the colored plastic bits that were once attached to the end of wings, from the inside of the wing socket. Anyone have an idea on the price of original flutter wings? Also, if anyone is looking to buy some, feel free to send me a message.

Sorry for my thread spamming today, but I've been off work this week due to medical reasons so I finally have some time for pony picture taking! Anyway, here's another interesting pony that I purchased from my friend: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginUnfortunately there is no story to accompany this girl, so we can only guess who she is and where she came from. Her head is factory sealed, but as far as I can tell from the outside her hair is original. The colors, length, & slight blend between color sections match the other year 3 Rainbow Ponies perfectly. She has no trace of ever having a symbol. Her eyes are the same blue as German Starshine, with whom she shares a pose. However, her feet are marked with PAT PEND, where German Starshine's are not. She is also not afflicted with the cancer/dark brown spots that are common on her German friend. So... what do you think about her?? visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginAnd just for fun... here's a little preview of my pony room. It's about 90% finished, just getting that last bit of stuff unpacked & displayed has taken more months than I care to admit. Ok, I've finally got photos to share of my second Venezuelan pony... white Tootsie! This pony will always hold a special place in my heart & my collection. I got her from an old friend who used to be a very active collector. Last year I made 2 visits to see my friend after losing touch with her for years. I bought a bunch of ponies from her & on my first visit, I took my Venezuelan Cherries Jubilee to share with her. While we were looking over her massive collection, I spotted this white Tootsie & said "Oh, you have a Venezuelan pony, too!". There's no doubt that this Tootsie is from the same place as CJ... the plastic, hair, & paint are exactly the same. On my last visit, my friend insisted that her Tootsie become part of my collection. I sent her the payment a few weeks later, thus I didn't want to "brag" about Tootsie until she was paid off. I'm fairly certain that this is the same "weird Tootsie" that popped up years ago on ebay, since my friend was actively collecting during that time. Anyway, here she is... visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginTootsie with her Venezuelan sister, Cherries Jubilee: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or login
