Hi there! I'm searching for a Nbbe baby ribbon! She's one of my Grail ponies! I'm hoping to find one in okay condition for under $50. I would be willing to trade as well! I'm not a picky collector, I don't mind minor flaws or hair trims.
If you have one let me know!! Thank you!

So we always hear about how lovely g1 fresh out if the package smelled and I love that smell too!
But what I love more? That g2 hard plasticy smell! Ugh I got a lot of g2s today and when I opened tge box, the smell hit me! I was a late teen when g2s came out and I loved them!
Who else here loves that new pony smell? G1 or g2!

So we've all seen it, the nasty neon pink/neon orange marks on our te party times, the dark magenta spots in our cloud puffs, and the white creamy discoloration on our blue belles.
We refer to it as regrind. But to my understanding, regrind in the process in which unused or excess material is reground to a finer granule and mixed in to the new material to save on costs, be more efficient. It's a pretty common practice to my understanding.
My questions are how did the pony community decide or figure out that, that was in fact causing these ponies to have these discolorations and spots? How does mixing older materials it plastics in with newer plastics cause these spots? From the 6+ party times and 4 or so cloud puffs I've had pass through my hands, these spots are somewhat uniform in shape, which to me doesn't make sense if the old plastic was reground and mixed into the new ones. Wouldn't it not appear in the form of a dot? Wouldn't it be more like the white blue bells or the Italian hop scotches that get those white markings similar to how a cow has splotches?
I'm belive the white blue bells and white Italian hopscotches are true victims of regrind. I'm not convinced so much of the cloud puffs, part times and other who form the spot marks we call regrind. To me after examining party time and a ginger bread with brown spots, it seems those two are more a like than the white splotchy markings found on blue bell. Could these spots just be ages spots or plasticizer leaking causing it to discolor? I'm just not 100% convinced about regrind, I feel like if it was such a practice in ponies we would see more ponies affected then just the handful of ones who always seem prone to it?
Can anyone fill me in? I know we have some great scientists here on the arena! Help me with the missing information I am lacking of the regrind world!
Sorry for the long post, just in a super inquisitive mood!

Saw this cute phone case at target today while shopping. I got a good chuckle out if it due to the on going battle of Alicorn Versus pegacorn battle that some oldie g1 fans might remember! Thought my arena friends would enjoy! visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Hey all! I traveled to Indianapolis this weekend. I drive through Kokomo, and decided to stop at the toy store. I stopped there once about 3 or 4 years ago. They moved to a much bigger location!
I know someone from the store used to be a member here or a collector, maybe the wife of the owner? Is this still true? Last time I went there were tons of ponies! A huge display case, and a shelf and bins. This time there were only a few.
The prices were a little high for me, but I picked up a nice pink baby ember for $10, yeah a little more than I'd like to pay, but I had my heart set on getting a pony, and she was the only one under $20 that I didn't have. They had a bow tie, baby cuddles, drink and wet baby cuddles, purple and pink ember together, a softie moon dancer with tag, a couple pony wear items with back cards, and a beautiful pink dreams flutter (who I desperately wanted but wouldn't pay the $25 price tag.)
Anyone else ever shop there? It's such a fun store! And is the owner/worked that used to collect still active here or part of the shop?

So over in the "which ponies were released only in North American thread, we were talking about moc/carded mail orders and party pack ponies that were sold internationally. It got me thinking that I've never seen any of these! I've seen the mip with cards on top tux n tails, birth flowers and such, but never a moc mail order or say pillow talk from the slumber party set.
Does anyone know of which mail orders or party packs that were released moc? Or better yet, anyone have any pictures?
Also what other peculiar moc, mip ponies are out there? Like I said, I've seen the ponies in bags with cards on top, mostly tux and tails, birth flowers, happy tails, and princess ponies. Also the moc double baby ponies. Anything else?

Hey all! So I know there are several g1 accesories out there that were made for the mlp line, but packaged with other hasbro lines. Like the birthday dolls that came with the party hats and ect from the best wishes set. I know it's mostly combs and brushes, but what else is there? My question, is there a guide with pictures out there or a list of other accesories that are mlp but didn't come with mlp? Post pics if you have any! Thanks!

Hey all! So I've got a question on deflocking that I hope someone can help with!
I've got a ribbon and wind whistler whose 80% deflocked except for some really tough spots and parts with lots of glue. Their my 2nd attempt at a deflock, my first was a paradise who took me a year but got her done and no sign of glue anywhere.
Now here's where I need your help, I've been deflocking with nail polish remover because it has acetone in it. It stinks, and it does not do a great job. I just read in another thread that I'm supposed to use pure acetone. Have you guys been using pure acetone all these years with me thinking you all deflock gorgeously with nail polish remover?! *head desk* here comes 8+ years of questions....where do I get pure acetone? Is it expensive? How do I use it to deflock? Can I do it indoors? Does it melt plastic? Remove symbols or eyes? Is it easy? Do I have to use gloves? Can I use it on a wash cloth?
*Ahem* sorry... I'm just bewildered that I've been doing this wrong for so long!

Hey ponies! I just need to vent real quick. Ever since I was a child, the mlp and friends show has been one of my favorites. One of my all time favorite characters is fizzy. I adore her color scheme! I used to own her when I was little and didnt care for her as much as a toy and could never figure out why. So I gave her to my neighboor. She just looked different... Well flash forward to this week. I finally got my hands on another fizzy replacement. Still she doesn't look right compared to her animated counter part. And it finally dawned on me! Her hair color order is different!!! visitors can't see pics , please register or login(Pic not mine. Courtesy of google image search.) 20 years of knowing something was off, but not knowing what. Ugh! Ponies continue to surprise me everyday! I might have to buy another fizzy and have her rehaired! Anyone done this yet? What about you? Any pony revelations that drive you mad?! I'd love to hear them!
