I'm not much of a doll collector (~7 Bratz dolls, 4 EAH dolls, and one LFO doll). However, when I did some online holiday shopping for the family, I couldn't pass up on getting a few Project MC2 dolls for myself. Anyone else collect these?

When I got to work today, I found that Windows apparently did some updates over the weekend. Now, I can't print. When I go to print a page, my printer is no longer listed in the drop-down list of items. Instead, a new program PDF Complete is listed as the default printer. I went into the list of printers and devices in the Control Panel, and found my printer (an HP8600 series) listed. But when I right-clicked it there's no option to make it my default printer. The "Properties" option shows the HP8600 to be an "unspecified device". Furthermore, the only printing options listed for me to set as my default printer are all things like PDF Converter, PDF Complete, etc....They're not even actual devices. Any idea what would cause this mess and how to fix it?
I should add that the computer no longer lists my boss's printer as an option either in the drop-down box when I go to print. She's as baffled as I am. Suddenly, I can't print from other printer and have all this PDF crap instead.

Does anyone know where I can find photos of and info about imitations of the Fairy Tail birds? I had two toy birds as a kid and I'm trying to find info about them. One I'm sure was fake. She was pink w/ pink hair and her feet were part of her vinyl mold and sat flat. The other was peach or orange with multi-colored hair. My memories of her are vague. I keep looking at Daisy Tails thinking it might have been her, or it could have been a fakie.

I bought some scratch off lottery cards today. These particular cards are set up like crossword puzzles. There's a box of "your letters" that you have to uncover to reveal the letters you have. You can then scratch those letters off each time they appear in the crossword puzzle. If you get 3+ words completely scratched off you win money.
Anyway, when I found that all my letters had been marked on the puzzle, there was only one word completely scratched off. That word was "Iris", the name of my dog.

I just bought 3 items from different sellers and paid for each through Paypal. The second and third transactions went through fine, but for the first one the payment shows in my Paypal account as being "Unclaimed" for the status. I've never seen that before.
Anyone ever come across this situation before?

I wanted to see if this is something worth mentioning to a seller: I bought a twinkle eye pony on ebay. The pony is described as being in mint condition. However, when I received the pony today I noticed there are 2 very small cancer spots and her one eye has a minor scuff. Otherwise she's in perfect condition. Are these things worth mentioning to the seller? I'd like to keep the pony, but was surprised to see these flaws on an item listed as mint. She's a common TE for which I paid ~$19.00 including shipping.

I learned two things about MLP today:
1) I'd always thought the Big Brothers, Mountain Boys, Daddy ponies, and Prince Sapphire were the only G1 adult stallions produced. But apparently Sports-Time is a stallion as well.
2) There's a variant of Princess Sparkle/Princess Amethyst named Princess Crash.
What other secrets are you guys hiding over in Europe? Just kidding.

I've been considering starting a G1 collection for awhile (since getting back into MLP I've been collecting G3). I've started making a wishlist, and I've found that the ponies/sets I really like are the UK exclusives: Schooltime Ponies, Cookery Ponies, Pony Tales set, NSS set, etc.... Maybe its a case of the grass being greener, but I think the UK got the best sets.

At what point would you open a case against a seller?
I bought an item via Buy It Now on February 6th and paid immediately. The same day, Ebay showed a tracking #, but no tracking status. Instead, I get this message:
"The seller has provided a tracking number. The tracking status will be updated once the shipment reaches the carrier."
When I noticed there was no change in this status, and that the listing had been removed, I sent the seller the following message on February 11th:
"I'm writing to inquire about my order. I see the listing was cancelled for this item. I also see there is a tracking # but no tracking status. Has the item been shipped or is the payment for the item, which has already been deducted from my account, being refunded?"
He sent the following response the same day:
"ill ship tomorrow or next monday early, you will receive your item next week."
Now I realize Monday was a holiday, but now it's Tuesday evening and the USPS tracking still shows the same message. It's been 10 days since I've paid and the estimated delivery date provided by Ebay was Saturday. How long should I wait before opening a case?

Is it an acceptable practice to email a seller an offer for an item they have listed as a "Buy It Now" when they don't have a "Best Offer" option? There's a seller who has a book that I really want. In fact they have 11 copies of it, and they aren't selling at all. 1 copy has been listed for a couple months, and for some reason they added 10 more about 5 days ago. They want $30.00 per book plus shipping, and I'd be willing to pay $20.00 plus shipping. Would it be rude to email that offer since they don't have a "Best Offer" option?

Hey all,
I bought some flea preventive for my cats recently from a seller on ebay. I got my order and everything but now this message shows in my order history:
"We had to remove this listing from the site and you're not required to complete the transaction. If you've already sent payment, the sale should process as normal and you don't have anything to worry about. If you have any questions about delivery, please check tracking or contact your seller. If you run into any trouble along the way eBay is here to help. Please visit the Resolution Center to help resolve any problems you may encounter."
"This user is no longer registered on eBay."
There's nothing on ebay that explains what this means and no information as to why this listing was removed. Can anyone shed light on what triggers this sort of message and how to find out more info?

I just bought an item from overseas (Vietnam) and I'm wondering if what it says for shipping makes sense to anyone:
It says in the Item Description:
"U.S. shipping only! Deliver 2-4 days."
But then under Shipping and Payments it says:
" Delivery estimated between Wed, Sept 23 & Fri, Sept 25."
Does that make sense to anyone? It's an order of flea treatment for my cats. Worst comes to worst and they arrive in late September, then I'll use them for October's treatments and get another batch elsewhere. And, yeah I know I should have read the latter before ordering. The discrepancy in timeframe just strikes me as odd.

Anyone know how to sync a Wii remote with the game console? I thought it'd be easy but it's been absolute HELL. I've charged the Wii remote. I've hit the red sync button on the back of the remote. When the lights flash I hit the red sync button on the console. I've followed these steps with 3 remotes and I've switched out the batteries. My brother tested my Wii sensor bar at his house and it works fine. I even borrowed his console in case it was an issue with that. And yet everytime I hit the sync button on the Wii remote and then the one on the console, the lights on the remote flash and then turn off. It's the same with each Wii remote. Anyone know how to resolve this?
