Hello everyone I thought I'd share with you some cat dolls I've been making recently. I'm working towards opening my own Etsy store for these cats, with the intention of taking custom orders to make dolls that look like people's pet cats as well as selling my own made up characters. I actually work in the stop motion industry as a puppet maker for feature films, but now want to start my own business selling these dolls. I'd love to get your opinions on them and any ideas/suggestions/comments are of course appreciated The cats stand at about 22cm high. They're handmade from scratch which includes sculpting, sewing, soft sculpture work, costume making etc. Lots of work goes into each doll and they're made with a lot of love! I was walking past a charity shop today and thought I'd pop in quickly to see if there was anything good. I may occasionally see a tatty G3 or G4 but never anything worth picking up. Today though, the first thing I saw when I walked into the room was a very pristine looking Posey on the toy shelf! She still has very pink hair and bright paintwork (most Poseys I see have white hair and faded pink tulips) - for 99p I got an absolute bargain! The lighting in the photo doesn't do justice how bright pink her hair is. She looks brand new. visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Hello everyone! I hope this is the right page to post this on. I recently got my hands on some of these cool Spirit Stallion of the Cimarron figures, and was wondering if they're worth anything? I remember seeing them as a child when they were first released, and I know that they didn't make much merchandise for the film. They have 'Dreamworks: 2002' on their legs, and a little silver horse mark like the Breyer horses? Any info or an idea of a price for these would be great. I'm working on an art doll right now, and plan to make her a wig from scratch. The colour is going to be natural, a sort of strawberry blonde shade. I've looked into mohair which seems to give nice effects, but does anyone have any other recommendations of types of hair/brands of doll hair you can buy? She's going to have a bob sort of like this: http://www.aceshowbiz.com/images/still/the-wind-rises-image04.jpgSo I need a type of hair which can be easily styled or at least will keep its shape well in a natural way. Any of you doll artists have any advice for a newbie?

Maybe someone can tell me a bit about these girls! I spent a while cleaning them up today, bought them in a rather mucky lot last week. As far as I'm aware they're made by Fisher Price, but that's all I know. Super-pretty looking ponies but I don't collect them - is there a market for these? Do they have a specific name? Hey guys! Bought a lovely lot of ponies a few weeks ago that got posted yesterday by Parcelfoce 48. The question is, should I expect them today or on Monday? Does yesterday count as the first lot of 24 hours and today as the second lot? I rarely get deliveries from them so am not sure. Thanks for any help you may have XTic_Tac_Toex

Hey all! Sorting through the stuff I'm selling and have hit a dead end with these few bits. I've put them in piles - MLP brushes, non-MLP brushes (the yellow one is Sindy, but any idea what it goes with?), there's a tartan cape (not sure if MLP pony wear?), some ribbons (which will probably be very hard to match up, but thought I'd try!), and also some white shoes. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginAny help greatly appreciated, thanks!
