Like brighteyes said, I'd rather have them without the poseable legs as well. I'm generally not a fan of those, these G1 dancing babies are a no-no for me as well.
They look jointedAre they jointed? :O If so I need every single one, omg. They're so cute.
The "big heads/squat bodies" thing is just how Loyal Subjects stylizes their vinyls, really. Look at the G.I. Joe figures (http://database.toywiz.com/index.php?b=GI%20Joe&f=manufacturer&v=The%20Loyal%20Subjects), for example. It works with the GI Joes but not so much for the ponies.. I'm worried that unless the tails are heavier than the figures will face plant whatever they are standing on. Hopefully the joints will be sturdy enough too
I think these gals are super cute; the stylized design suits them, imo! :lovey:
Bummer. Something about the proportions makes me not like them . :( and i want to like them...
Guh, I want to like these, but those joints... :x The proportions in general look kind of odd to me, but the joints are a deal breaker for me, if that makes sense.
I want to like these so much, but... I hate the jointed limbs, and I hate that the symbols are on their backs. As well as the molded hair. So much fail.
Bummer. Something about the proportions makes me not like them . :( and i want to like them...Ditto
Oh my gosh, they're so cute and what a fun idea! Definitely want them all, Firefly and Applejack most of all though.
AHHHH LICKITY SPLIT SOOOOO MUCH WANT I AM THROWING MONEY AND CREDIT CARDS AT SCREEN WHY NO WORK
When I first saw the title I thought WHAT?! Funko Vinyl G1s? Yes please!! But anyways still exciting that we are getting some G1 ponies! They are actually really cute there heads are just a little too big. The detail on them is quite good, I hope we get more G1 ponies like blind bags, brushies, and funko.
They had transparent exclusives of their Power Ranger ones for SDCC. Can you imagine if they did sparkle ponies for this year's exclusives?

Sure. As long as they're not jointed.
Showed them to DD and she wants Firefly, Buttons and Scoopity-Split. As long as they don't cost me an arm and a leg I can oblige.

I like their eyes, and the manes and tails look cute, but overall, they do seem kind of out of proportion. I think I'll reserve judgment until I see them in person or at least until we get more pics. That's how I feel, since these are just the prototype images. They could always be better or worse in person but I hope for the latter.
Did anyone see the display on this video? Gusty! Minty! And a few others. At 1:24 https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=938233089563971&id=199198146800806

SCOOPITY SPLIT!! LOVE IT! :lmao:
My only concern is that the website shows their other toylines for sale - and their non-blindbox vinyl toys seem to vary from $30-55. Each. :yikes: I love them, and I WANT them ... but my wallet will die!!

Can we get a non-facebook link, please?
I'm really torn. It's like buying these will convince Hasbro the old ponies have viability in the modern market. However, the design is really meh, and I don't like pony articulation. I guess if I see a Wind Whistler and/or Fizzy I'll buy them.

For those who couldn't see.I'm disappointed so many people are complaining on there (I get it, but I just wish more appreciation would be shown too). I'm always super happy to have anything g1 made, and I think the big head thing fits in with the rest of their line where they kind of caricature figures. I'm going to buy every one I can to support them. Plus, I just personally think they're cute.Spoiler

Oh sweet heaven, there's going to be a GUSTY?!? Omg, must have right now!! Are these going to be available online somewhere? I'm not familiar with this toy line.
"If they release a Minty, I have to have her"
Theres a Minty!
OMG I want them all. So, mail away does that mean like you collect points or you get an order form like the old fashioned way or do you have to order them online?
Not sure about them yet...loving the resurrection of G1 but don't like jointed legs - that feature has even put me off several of the G2s.
I suspect I will have to get a an Applejack because, well, I have to have all things AJ (first pony and all that...) :P
Anyone know if they'll be available in the UK or do you have to get them online?
I checked out their Transformers figures. At least these ponies aren't half head like the Transformers are. Though, if the Transformers are anything to go by, the articulation should be really good quality and we'll get their classic backcard stories with them.

Hmm. That's a good question. Maybe you can contact them and see if they ship internationally?

I can't wait to see these in person. The proportions looks a little strange from the photos but they probably look better IRL. My favorite part is the way the hair is molded. Each one has their own unique style and personality. :D
I believe the "Mystery Purple Unicorn" is Glory. She has a stripe on her symbol that looks a lot like Glory's and her famous streak of hair. I bet she is tinted purple like Rarity is actually a Grey/Blue color. ;p
I love them all, especially Gusty. I would be SOOOOO happy if they released a Bowtie with the double yellow bows in her hair like in Firefly's adventure. That would be too cute!
Is there any mention of the price point yet? (I hope they're not as expensive or more expensive than the FUNKO ponies.)

I would take totally buy a Bowtie like that!
I think the mystery one is Glory? Maybe they made her with a slight purple/pink tint?

Thanks for posting pics! Personally I think they're adorable.
So from those pictures I'm guessing:
Firefly
Buttons
Snuzzle
Gusty
Minty
Blossom or Lickety-Split
mystery purple unicorn
Sundance
I think the mystery unicorn is either Princess Sparkle or Glory.
Could be Buttons without her hair stripe XD?I think the mystery one is Glory? Maybe they made her with a slight purple/pink tint?

Maybe is Windy but wit wrong hair colors? like they did wit Lickety Split ^.^
Man, the more I look at them, the more I utterly dislike them. Kind of a shame, because there could be so much potential. But, man, these are fails of epic proportion. Guess the faces are cute, but that's about it.No the min Firefly with the mini book last year was a complete fail XD These may grow on me but I would only get like 1 or two of them.. again I would have to kind of hold judgement

OMG!! It keeps getting better!! @_@ WANT!!
It should be mentioned these are probably going to be blind boxes like G.I. Joe and the Transformers. Which means, you can't just pick and choose without figuring out someway to tell.
It's kinda cool to think that these are targeted at us collectors.

Pretty cool. This is kinda what so many collectors wanted, the execution may be different then we were expecting, but these are much better than the Firefly mini figure that came out recently. This could lead to more G1 ponies too.
They aren't out yet. They will be soon.
If they follow the trend of the Transformers figures, there will be a number of regular figures which will be displayed on the box and three mystery figures a wave which are only in silohuette and rarer. They will be the pony, the ribbons might be an accessory that comes with it. Also, the Transformers came with a card that had their "Tech Specs" like the backcards of the original toys, so the ponies might also come with a card with their backcard stories as well. We'll have to see when they actually hit shelves.
You gonna get any Al?I'm waiting to see if we get more Year 4 ponies like Wind Whistler and Fizzy. I might message them about it, but I'm not sure how to do it outside of Facebook.

Think these will show up at Hot Topic?
Doubtful. Hot Topic is actively staying away from anything and everything MLP, it seems. They're already saying that they won't be carrying the Funko vinyl ponies anymore. I know, I know- "But G1 isn't G4" well... I'm not expecting HT to care about the difference. Pony is pony, and that's obviously not one of their focuses right now.
I could see these turning up at Barnes & Noble. They seem to be really big into carrying collectible figures and toys these days.
Ah, I see. What a pity. Thanks for the insight Moonbeam. :)

Sure! I'm trying to think of other places that may carry these, other than online. Hopefully they pop up in a few different stores. B&N was just the only one I could think of off the top of my head.
I think someone earlier said Hastings might be an option too. They carry lots of collectibles. I hope they do because that's much closer to me than B&N is. As long as I have some way to get them!

Ah! I live in western PA, so Hastings isn't a thing around here. That would be cool though, for those of you with access to a Hastings.
Here is a list of retailers: https://www.theloyalsubjects.com/retailers :)
^^ Also, worth mentioning, if one of those places is a little local place by you-- I'd ask about it. But I assume these will likely be just at the big places (?). I dunno XD I remember labbit being a htf vinyl toy at just little places in '08, but now you can just find him at B&N
Interesting.
I really want to like them. I wish their heads were a little more proportional. Didn't they have a real G1 on hand to use as a model?
I'm glad so many like them.
They aren't supposed to be in proportion. They're kind of like chibis except not as extreme. :)
To give an idea, this is one of this company's Transformers figures:
visitors can't see pics , please register or login
As you can see, the ponies are far less, uh, squat. ;) Probably because, with their four legs, they already form a "square" that can neatly fit in a little square box. Unlike a bipedal figure which needs to be "squashed" more. And also if their head were as big as Starscream's they'd fall on their noses, ha ha.
Does anyone have an idea about availability for international buyers? I haven't even heard of half of the company names you guys mention :(
Oh my gosh- is that APPLEJACK I see on the end of the first photo past Sundance? I was so excited about Snuzzle and Minty I totally forgot she was included. I am so excited for these now :biggrin:I can't tell but who is that between Sweet Scoops and Sundance?

I'm just happy G1 is getting some love during this G4 borefest.

It would probably be impossible for mass production, but I wish Hasbro would take notes from this BJD pony:this is a great example for G4 but it would be hard with G1. G4 design doesn't fully articulate the joints - it's much more vague. G1 design definitely tried to make efforts to show the caricature of an equine leg. You can't do that AND hide the joints very well...
http://silverbeam.deviantart.com/art/BJD-Pony-326864272
(Minus the head. It looks too much like the SFM ponies to me and I hate those models)
But that's the kind of jointing I'd like to see. Looks much better.

My comment is neither awkward nor aggressive. But I will go find my post where I discussed my thoughts on this:

Hmmm do you know I would be more than happy to see G1 ponies again. That aren't designed by someone else like Funko, WeLoveFine, The Loyal Subjects, etc. If I had known that the G1 retro re-releases a decade ago would have prompted MORE re-releases, I would have bought dozens of them. With no "promise" of more from Hasbro, I was pretty disappointed at the pathetic quality and small distribution. They asked us what we would pay if they did this, we told them, they released them, they sold terribly, they didn't make more. If at any point Hasbro has said, "This is an experiment for a collector's line of MLP", I wouldn't have complained. But poor communication on their part led to terrible sales which led to no more G1 ponies being produced. :(
So sick of everything needing to be designed to look "chibi", "SD" or "anime-stylized". Move away from this design trend already!

Unfortunately, it seems to be a style that just refuses to die. As others have said, the more compact design makes for easier packaging. The Loyal Subjects are also none of their articulated figurines. They're obviously going to do that here.
The problem is Hasbro isn't releasing anything of its own for G1. Even their G4 lines are so limited and the distribution is patchy at best.

This too. I would like it very much if Hasbro showed its oldest fans a little more love, like they do their oldest TF fans. How many wonderful and improved TF designs have they made while still being retro enough to appeal to nostalgia?
They have been getting better with Retro merch though...overseas anyway. :(

Transformers fans are more willing to spend money, so they get better quality and a wider variety of items. When Hasbro did that poll during the G3 era, they asked MLP collectors how much they would be willing to pay for a retro G1 pony. The community collectively said: $5. Ridiculously low when you consider that, accounting for inflation, the ORIGINAL G1 ponies actually cost $12 in today's money. And they were sold in massive batches, whereas collector merchandise is typically priced higher, to make up for having a more specialized and limited audience.
I am honestly surprised we even got the two sets we did. I do not think we will ever get Hasbro produced retro ponies again.
I hope that, even if the style isn't to your taste, everyone appreciates Loyal Subjects producing G1 merchandise that isn't just clipart slapped on a shirt. They are taking a risk.
Why did fans say $5? They never considered inflation and the fact it was going to be a limited release?
Though, I think we had a discussion that people think it is more acceptable to splurge on "boy" collectibles than "girl" collectibles. Double standards for the win!
I feel like literally everything g1 since then that wasn't like clothing has been super hated on (although that mini Firefly beast deserves the hate I think lmao). Those Hamilton figurines were (Firefly and Glory), and I admit they were a little weird but I LOVED them and omgggg did it take me FOREVER to find someone to sell me Firefly, it seems like no one bought her so there were really none around to even buy! And that person barely wanted to part with her because she knew there weren't many around. I wasn't collecting when they were out so I had to buy them afterward.
And then those reproduction sets which I was over the moon about when my mom went and bought me both rainbow ponies sets (good mom ty, I was a highschooler without money). I think people did like those little dolly mix ponies...
And I guess those Snowbaby sets were liked except people hated the dolls and collectors complained about the prices.
I get really excited every time we get a new opportunity. I totally get that people are disappointed and that's up to them and I respect that, I'm just marveling at how as a community it seems most of us are always displeased and if we're not we don't want to spend the money. lol
What upcoming Glory? o_O
Why did fans say $5? They never considered inflation and the fact it was going to be a limited release?
IIRC, a lot of people said "If I can buy a brand new G3 for $5, I should be able to buy a new G1 for $5" and also "I can get a good condition Cotton Candy for $5, so why should I pay more than that." If you poke through the MLP Arena archives you may be able to find the original thread with a link to the poll (which is obviously long gone now) and people talking about it.QuoteThough, I think we had a discussion that people think it is more acceptable to splurge on "boy" collectibles than "girl" collectibles. I dunno, the Jem dolls from Integrity Toys are pricey, but popular. But they are also a much better representation of the TV characters than the original Hasbro dolls, and better quality than the originals. In a weird way, I think retro MLPs are doomed because the original toys are so durable. It's easy to pick up good condition G1 MLPs cheap, but not easy to find G1 Dinobot Swoop without his beak broken off. So MLP collectors are used to not spending much. It's just the way it is.

This was my thinking at the time, and in a way still is. I could buy an original in good condition for the same or less than new in the store. And as a collector, why would I buy a lower quality" retro" version when I could get the real thing for the same price? (I did in fact buy the year 1 ponies because I didn't have most of them at the time, but I skipped the rainbow ponies.). This is why I have always said they should have made them in alternate poses or used more sought after ponies like Mimic or mail order ponies instead of some of the most common ponies of the generation.
This is why I am a supporter of the idea of g1 to G4 toys. Remakes of the originals would be a hard sell if they aren't done just right and would only appeal to us collectors. But I think g1 characters as G4 toys would fly off the shelves.

The best we would get is Faceted painted eyes on the G4. We would never get a true TAF pony, Hasbro only seems to want the symbol on one side. Quality would not be good, G4 quality in various ways has went down hill with various ponies. Flutter ponies would not be the same if they were made, G4 wing gimmicks do not really look right imo and would not translate for G1 flutter ponies.

And looking at these ponies, they're better than the articulated ponies Hasbro is putting out themselves. They don't look like demented marionettes.Yeah they do look better. Posable G4s actually need to go back to the drawing board.
Eww, they're hideously out of proportion.
But, you know... It's G1. We're getting new G1 stuff. Ugly or not, I'm happy about these :)

I think what really sunk the remakes was that it was big 3 packs.

Pretty much they would only stick to the basic earth, unicorn, and pegasus ponies from G1 who didn't have any special needed to be done to them (like TEs). The designs for G4 just doesn't fit with G1s to me. If any hasbro reps have been to the Pony Fairs during G4 they would have seen G1 to G4 customs by now and might get some ideas, but they haven't seemed to even bat an eyelash.
I think it's good that at least someone is throwing G1 lovers a bone. I have to wonder what the original creator of G1 would think of these :) I think she would have liked them for what they are and that at least some one is -trying-.
Why did fans say $5? They never considered inflation and the fact it was going to be a limited release?
IIRC, a lot of people said "If I can buy a brand new G3 for $5, I should be able to buy a new G1 for $5" and also "I can get a good condition Cotton Candy for $5, so why should I pay more than that." If you poke through the MLP Arena archives you may be able to find the original thread with a link to the poll (which is obviously long gone now) and people talking about it.
These are jointed though, aren't they? So even if there were quality issues (and since they're not released yet, how would we know at this point?) they're clearly a different product. Maybe it's because I'm more of an action figure collector (and I like the Loyal Subjects Transformers figures), but I've never thought it was strange to have dozens of different versions of a character on the market at the same time, so I don't see why having the originals on the market at the same time would mean a new jointed version of a pony would be a hard sell (in a market sense rather than an individual one, obviously no one toy is going to appeal to every collector as individuals).
Personally, it's not about the durability of the original toys (although it's true that my Transformers from the 80s are trashed while my ponies are still in good condition), because they action vinyls are such a different product. So personally I really like the idea of them, and if they made one of a character that interested me I'd totally pick it up. That said, since the four we've seen aren't Surprise or Snuzzle (my interest list is short :P), I won't be picking them up - but if they expand the line to include those characters I'd totally be purchasing them.

I think what really sunk the remakes was that it was big 3 packs.
It was probably to keep production costs down. Three ponies in one package is cheaper to make than three ponies in three packages. But I agree it made for unwieldy display. The art on the back was genuine G1, though--it was from the brochure for the collector ponies, the birthflower ponies, and Satin 'n Lace (first version).
What is with these akwardly agressive comments? Sometimes it feels some G1 fans will only be pleased with ya know...old G1 toys. No current merch will be good enough.
I'm just happy G1 is getting some love during this G4 borefest.
Because... opinions? I have no problem with G1 getting more attention. Like the playskool figurines, the anniversary sets and such. But sometimes G1 squeezed into a popular style is something that just doesn't work for people.
The idea of pony clothing on them is cute! There's an interesting question. How will these ponies compare to original G1's? Will pony wear fit them?

If they're too small for adult G1 clothes, they might fit baby G1 clothes. They'd look cute in the dragon or bunny outfits. ;)

If you can fit them over those huge heads. :snicker:
Bummer. Something about the proportions makes me not like them . :( and i want to like them...
Does anyone know how big these are compared to regular ponies?
And if buying online like in amazon etc. can let you still choose which specific pony you want to buy?
Toy Fair UpdateI can't wait to see more from the Toy Fair and the Play Fair
Greetings all! I just saw these figures up close and personal this morning and took a bunch of pictures (which I will try to upload at a later time). But they are pretty cute in person. They photograph better from some angles more than others. Here are some things I learned.
-The figures we have seen are hand painted prototypes so are not an exact representation of production.
- They are smaller than G1 ponies but not by much (bigger than baby g1 and g4 adults)
-It appears the bows might be removable (they were little pegs) but it was hard to tell on the prototypes.
-Symbols are on one side only.
- Approximate retail (if I can read my notes) is about $15.
- Estimated spring arrival
- Didnt disclose mass market retailers yet but should be similar to other brands
-Wasn't able to ask if they were blind bags or not but the other toys in the booth were a mix (some open packages some blind bags)
First of all, thanks Foxtale for giving us more info and pics.
That said...
So these are collectibles aimed at g1 fans and they only have symbols on one side? Major fail!
I sincerely hope that these are not blind boxes because I most definitely will not be purchasing them then. I can see spending $3 on an item sight unseen but not $15!
Thanks for the pics! Were you able to confirm that mystery unicorn is indeed Glory?

Thank you soooo much! I think they're adorable and still plan to buy them all. I was scared they'd be $25 a piece, $15 isn't so bad.

You know what they kind of remind me of.. Collector Pose ponies
Thanks for the pics! Were you able to confirm that mystery unicorn is indeed Glory?
Yes, the purple unicorn with the purple and blue hair is Glory. The purple is lighter than it appears but again these were I believe colored prototypes so they may change.Thank you soooo much! I think they're adorable and still plan to buy them all. I was scared they'd be $25 a piece, $15 isn't so bad.
You're welcome ^.^ I just hope the price I was given when I asked for retail was correct and it wasn't mistakenly their wholesale. Regardless, I need all of these. The variation of hair is my favorite part. So cute

Ah, she has been revealed at last.
Is the white one Sundance or Truly?
So... Glory's the wrong color. Lickety Split is the wrong color. They are single sided. And are going to cost $15? It's going to be a toss up as to how much I support this line. I may buy them. But obviously I'm going to need to customize them to fix their colors and symbols. And they have excluded Moondancer, who is my favorite. But that may be for the best, since they can't seem to get the colors right.Well thankfully these are not the final productions, and depending on how well they do they may had more characters. I do wonder how they chose the ponies though XD Some are obviously fan favorites like Snuzzle and Gusty
I guess for the most part, I like them.
According to this video they are blind boxed. Boo! :/

Someone will find all the codes.
Thinking of more characters: What about non-pony characters? Sledge and G'Nash look like they were designed by The Loyal Subjects. Perhaps have them as mystery characters.
**More Information
I went back and talked to them today and brought some of your questions.
-Figures are blind boxed
-There are not yet revealed special chase figures
- if you purchase a case you should be able to get all the figures (16 to a case)
- Will be sold through the usual retailers such as Target, Hot Topic and Barns and Noble
- The characters that were chosen were popular in the universe and picked based on the stories they can tell and their unique character statements
- There will be more, support the release
- The choice to make them articulated is for play and to tell stories (pose and photograph them etc)
- July 1st is approximate release (not spring)
- Colors and hair shapes are not final at all..,, they are still working on the pieces
they want to make collectors happy so please let them know ^,^

I need a few of these! I would definitely get Glory and Applejack, but I would be perfectly happy with getting a blind box as well and being surprised. They all are cute enough for me to like whoever I get :)
Is it Oxnard? I forget my Ham-Hams at the moment.I need a few of these! I would definitely get Glory and Applejack, but I would be perfectly happy with getting a blind box as well and being surprised. They all are cute enough for me to like whoever I get :)

Back on topic, I don't mind that these are blind boxes, I would not mind getting them all!
Alright, I did it. Went and found their Facebook page and thanked them for the G1 love then commented about the symbols, wrong coloring, etc.Hopefully that is the right route. I know their main site has a "contact us" page that others can use

So awesome would be cool to see Mimic and Rapunzel as a chase figures, or sparkly ponies and or Twinkle eyes! I want Fizzy and boys!!Stupid question.. but what are chase figures?
Chase figures are like the funko glitter ponies, or the mystery mini store exclusives it's basically one that not as many are made or are limited figures and are harder to find.So awesome would be cool to see Mimic and Rapunzel as a chase figures, or sparkly ponies and or Twinkle eyes! Basically its called a "chase figure" because its a chase to get them because they are hard to find.
If Big Bad Toy Store carries these, they usually have two options: you can buy unopened blind boxes from them where you don't know what figure you'll get, OR you can buy specific characters where they've opened them to take a peek inside.
However, if you opt for the "buy specific characters" route the commons will cost a few dollars extra and the chase figures will cost quite a lot extra.
I figure I'll buy about three or four blind boxes, hoping I don't get duplicates, then buy the specific ponies I still need.
But WAIT, a plot twist! That wasn't Buttons at all!

Hmm, I suspected that after noticing Princess Sparkle on one of my retro cups. I suspect that they didn't specifically choose these characters after all. They just used the characters that Hasbro has already been using in its retro merch.

I agree, these are the characters turning up on a lot of retro merchandise. Hasbro probably sends clipart of them to all its licensees.
Foxtale did say they were open to making more waves, so people should email them and let them know their favorite ponies, with a link to their My Little Wiki entry. :)
I think for Glory at least it's probably from the clip art Hasbro sends out. Much the same way that Rarity sometimes ends up grey on merchandise.I haven't seen any Retro Clipart of Glory
And now I can also see how the toy designs have been affected by that retro clip art. The hair is very similar.
I bet this means one of the chase figures will be Starshine. She is used too frequently on retro merch for her to be left out.

There are several shirts, also a tin and a mug. She was included in that set of stud earrings. Target had a shirt featuring Glory on it in the men's section a few years ago. Its one of my favorite pony shirts for wearing around the house.
Here's a link to zazzle. There is two different Glory mugs right at the top.

*shrugs*. It's baffling how Rarity keeps ending up grey, sometimes really dark grey, and yet it keeps happening.I think she ended up grey because on the show she has a slight tint of grey.. I guess because of the eyes since there is no bottom line on the eyes of most of the characters
He did say they were planning to make more waves. He was really into convincing Hasbro that G1 Ponies are important to us and we want more merch. :DSo Hasbro initially doesn't think G1 MLP is important to collectors and fans? Gee I wonder where that came from
I know there are clear pictures out there but I forgot to post the full list of characters to avoid confusion (based on their symbols):
Applejack
Sundance
Lickety Split
Snuzzle
Gusty
Glory
Firefly
Minty
Princess Sparkle
**Mystery Chase Figure
I still want a Bowtie in the next wave. ;p

I was being mildly sarcastic with the last part of what I said. I do know why but I didn't want to directly say it as my point was kind of obvious.. well I don't know how obvious but my friend got it pretty well.So Hasbro initially doesn't think G1 MLP is important to collectors and fans? Gee I wonder where that came from
I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not, but I'll say it anyways. I've seen a lot of MLP 'fans' hate G1. I look at pictures of G1 ponies and art on Deviant-art, the comments are usually full of hatred and ignorance. They seem to forget no G1, no MLP.
Is there a way to contact them other then Facebook?
Thanks for contacting, and bringing this to my attention. Although I personally am not on the design team, I can definitely forward your notes.
I do hope we can look forward to your support in the future.
Hello (name removed),
Thanks for contacting, and bringing this to my attention. Although I personally am not on the design team, I can definitely forward your notes to the proper party.
Your input is greatly appreciated, and I do hope we can look forward to your support in the future.
Kind regards,

Excited for their release! I wonder if this means more G1 inspired pony products in the near future.
Approx. what month are they supposed to be released again? I don't know if I can wait much longer D:
Originally they said Spring of 2016 but the official word was July 1st. So hopefully somewhere around there.Oh boo :( well there goes not getting Snuzzle or Gusty on my birthday
I hope I'll be able to find these at Barnes and Noble. We have one within walking distance, so I would probably get a good number of them if they were available there.I just hope I see them at all. I was really hoping Hastings would be on the list but Target is fine.. just further away from me...
Bummer. Something about the proportions makes me not like them . :( and i want to like them...

I dunno who this man is, but I could kiss him for saying that.
AHHH I love them! It's so amazing that someone is paying attention to G1 <3 I will definately by, at minimum, three, but hopefully many more!Sugarberry would be awesome! She was my first G1 pony. :)
My hopes for future releases are Sugarberry (and the other TAF ponies), glow 'n shows and sea ponies!
*flails* Really tempted to preorder the whole box right nowwww.... considering it, probably will do it. So if we order the whole case can we get doubles? Or we get the full set for sure?
I was looking at their other mini-figure sets, because whatever they do for Transformers, TMNT, etc, will probably be the same as they do for MLP.
From what I can tell, a set usually has 8 common figures and up to 3 chase figures (i.e. rare figures), and the typical case will have two of each common. (A case has a total of 16 blind boxes in it.) This seems to be pre-set, not random--like, even if Donatello and Rafael have the same level of rarity, you aren't going to get a case with 4 Donatellos and zero Rafaels.
BUT sometimes one or more common figures switched out for a chase figure, and that part IS randomized. It is pure chance whether a case you order has a chase figure or not.
They often have three chase figures per set, with the odds of getting them being 1-in-16, 1-in-24, and 1-in-96. Whether they're doing this for MLP is uncertain, because from what Foxtale said it sounded like there might be only one chase figure?
Also, we have seen 9 figures to date. If we assume that The Loyal Subjects are following their usual set-up of having 8 commons, one of the ponies we've already seen may be a chase figure.
I'm going to be extremely surprised if the un-revealed chase figure isn't Starshine.
I'm going to be extremely surprised if the un-revealed chase figure isn't Starshine.
You know what's kinda strange? I went to the loyal subject website and there was no mention of these at all.Probably due to still working out the kinks and all, since what was shown at the fair was more or less prototypes
