Those of you who really like her but usually buy your ponies on ebay or taobao, consider waiting until she shows up in stores. We need to show Hasbro we support new characters, so every 'official' sale will help the cause! ;)^This!

(this is how hasbro makes their profits)

Erm...the UK gets slim pickings, too. I asked at my local walgreens and they said she probably wont hit the stores in kY till sometime in OCTOBER..and only a very few in stock.. considering what i went through to get my brushable princess twilight i was like UGH... So i was just like to heck with it.. and got mango to get me one on ebay. she wasnt too expensive.. more than im likly to pay if i waited but i have had some SERIOUSLY bad experiances waiting.. and STILL never getting the pony. so i caved. bleh.
any how.. if any one else wants to snag one or is in my boat here in KY mangs still has a couple!

I bought 5 plus some superglue gel which I need anyway- so shipping was free! It is pretty ridiculous though that they priced it so that the limit is 5, and buying 5 puts you just a couple of cents short of free shipping...Oh good plan! The local Walgreens hasn't had any pony toys for many months now besides a single Fashion Style Rarity that nobody wants, so my hopes are not high.Crow-eating time! A single Nurse Redheart did find her way into the toy aisle, hidden behind a single Rainbow Dash that I don't think was there before either. Two is a curious number so there may have been others...?! Also grabbed the paint-your-own twopack. It was on sale for buy-two-get-one-free, but there was only one available, unless I wanted to get a couple fakie packs or some disney princesses or something.
For those on the East Coast, I'm doing the toy reset today in my store so the other store should be doing them around now as well :)

Just got mine--the one and only they had on the shelf, too! Really hoping they get to be more commonplace as the quality's surprisingly good on mine--even the tail's curiously soft compared to most of my other recent G4s. Hopefully this isn't just a fluke!Mine was dirty on her NDS. She had dirt spots where you'd expect box rubs to be. I will try a magic eraser to take them off but she's got like six of these dirt spots.

I found one at my local Walgreens yesterday :) I caught them while they were actively restocking the entire toy aisle and there were a TON of plushes coming out, a hefty herd of the Ponyzillas a few FS ponies and then they had ONE brushable Rainbow Dash that was hiding Redheart. They'd seemed to have already moved on from the ponies that they were stocking, and I very seldom even see brushables in stock at my Walgreens. I was disheartened to only see the two ponies there, but am very glad I looked behind RD to find Redheart :)

The mane and tail on the one i bought was a pretty good match, if not the same colour. But I saw one earlier this week that hat very obvious tail/mane mismatch, so I left her there.

Most of the store exclusives are now hitting shelves outside the US now as well - the Ponymania and Wild Rainbow lines have been popping up all over the globe. Its not Hasbros issue who stocks what - thats for Hasbro subsidiaries and their retailers to do the shouting not Hasbro HQ itself.

I'm just really not a big fan of the whole exclusives strategy that many toy companies are so fond of. I guess it's an overall clever strategy for them to have those toys sold as exclusives at certain stores, since it increases their desireability and all...
But for a person like me, a collector who lives outside the US, this is really frustrating. Mostly because many of those toys are out of reach for me, since many of the stores selling them (Walmart, Target, Wallgreens etc.) simply don't exist where I live.
Heck, up until last year we didn't even have our own Toys R' Us (at least not in my hometown) so there was no way to get their exclusives as well.
The only way for me to get those toys is through the internet auctions but even then it's near impossible, since they usually end up being ridiculously over-priced, by the people who sell them, because they think it can bring them big cash on the sole basis of it being collectors item (like the pony sets feayuring Nightmare Moon and Queen Chrysalis).
So you see why I'm having such a beef with store exclusives.
At least there's still hope... and I'm glad about that.
I'll be sure to get myself this cutie if and when it comes out. I'm so happy that they decided to release other ponies that aren't part of the Mane Six. :P

Eh, I think I'd feel a little more kindly about it if the UK had seen more of the "international exclusives". I've still had to import ones like Ploomette because they didn't appear here, either (the only one I've seen is the Daisy Dreams scooter set, but it's £20 for two playful ponies and some plastic accessories :shocked: ), so it feels like we get the short ends of both sticks sometimes lol.
And...as for the other lines appearing here at last. That's great! Except...when we get them they're often much more expensive that the US release (again with the switching the $ for a £ on the RRP) :huh: I'm glad things are evening out, but I wish the prices would, too!

I got the two I preordered yesterday. One has one eye that's not painted in the indent so from the front, her eyes look really uneven and the other one's cutie mark is pretty badly misaligned. Like the hearts aren't where they're supposed to be. How hard is it to swap the heads? I've never tried to remove the head of a G4, but it doesn't look as easy as it is to remove a G1's head.
