MLP Nirvana / Re: Have you ever found a Nirvana pony in the wild?
« on: October 07, 2020, 01:01:43 PM »
I suppose the only "nirvana" I've found in the wild was a UK pretty beat with the purple hair in a facebook marketplace lot that was 3 hours north of me and I asked if she'd ship and she did! :) lot also had red roses in it so it certainly sweetened the deal

Have you seen the video of someone claiming the new giggle g5 pinkie is the same thing? The on switch is between the legs but the sensor is the face. Or the lol dolls being color changed in water when that was heavily advertised that they did that online...... I think some parents are just looking for someone to blame for their lack of research since the troll went viral. (which was an actual poor design)

I sort of rejoined Ponyisland after not playing since 2012 and I see based on website reviews that might of been a bad idea. Sounds like the current mods are ban happy but time will be the judge. Going to enjoy it for now.  Otherwise been playing animal crossing and ring fit adventure it's been a fun time

Her colors are nice and subtle.  I like her more than most of the pink assault :)

Her hair looks a lot more vibrant here and less boring looking than the MOC

Off Topic / Re: Week of Mar 21: COVID-19 info, facts & updates

My other half was in town last week dog sitting when the lock downs hit. I'm sending him out shopping tomorrow and he's quarantined to one part of the house for at least a week. I know the incubation is 2-14 days but idk if I want to be apart that long.  >_<  My mom is high risk and I think I am as well, I was very prone to catching bronchitis as a child and it always went chronic without meds I'd never recover on my own. My father always had problems with developing pneumonia so I suspect I got his lung genetics. I haven't been to town since the 15th. My job is sorta secure? I farm so the uncertainty is nothing new for me with crops. But I'm certainly a heck of a lot more on edge/anxious right now than normal planting season!

We have 281 cases and 4 deaths right now in Wisconsin today they closed all salons, tattoo parlors, another establishment I can't think of right now and all Goodwills have announced their closing in my area. Honestly took them long enough  >_<

My county in Wisconsin just got it's first case today, however I think it's been here since Chicago blew up in cases because we are only 2 hours away.

Spent my day sewing homemade face masks for whenever I need to go grocery shopping or need meds  :yikes: I'm not leaving my house as long as possible. I was last out on the 15th and I still feel when I was at the grocery store I was too exposed we shall see in another 9 days  >_<

Anyone on our forums doing something good to help others out in this time of need?

Also, hugs to anyone who has a job who puts them on the front lines for this-- be it hospitals, grocery stores, or elsewhere. stay healthy.

I just figured by now we all know our shelves are low  Stores are going to restock, so it's ok. As of now, I haven't heard disruptions in the supply chain. They are just trying to keep up.

I farm and I've called all my neighbors if they need parts that our workshop is open rather than us all keep risking our health going to town. I've also offered to pick up groceries for the oldest neighbors/those scheduled for surgery next week. Otherwise I'm staying home

Wisconsin here and schools are closing after tomorrow and gatherings no bigger than 250 for most of the state and effected counties just announced groups no larger than 50 that might be for the whole state as well I'm too tired to re-read at the moment. Up too late reading news.

Illinois just closed all restaurant dining rooms and bars after the scenes from Ohare. I expect our governor to follow suit tomorrow.

No one here yet seems to be taking it seriously other than hoard buying. My other half included keeps wanting us to go out and I'm like we need to stay in. I got dad's weak lungs, mom's 67 and has health issues and he is walking around with a lingering cough from January cause he's a casual smoker. I forgot to get eggs today so I'm down to 3 and reading the CDC list my cleaner of choice 409 isn't on the list of things that kill the virus. So I only have a can and a half of lysol disinfectant and one bottle of bleach. I may have to use hand soap to clean my house if someone were to get sick. (we have a big ranch house that I've currently been deep cleaning to prepare for one of us to be sick). On the plus side I was set on food and TP before stuff hit the fan.

I've got myself all paranoid cause I cleaned my shower with tilex and even with ventilation my lungs are all tight now from being exposed to the cleaner ... so I'm like this is it right? XD when I know this happens anytime I have to break out that to clean. I really should have a mask on to use it but seeing as masks are sold out right now..... I'm kind of SOL on that.

I'm worried about the idiots in town some of our peers have been posting stuff about martial law and needing to revolt if the bar shut down happens cause god forbid the drinking state close the bars and we drink at home!

I've have been flagged for listing an empty Skydancers Bubble bath bottle by ebay in the past. I knew about the toy ban but I think they have a keyword search that auto pulls listings down because I was almost immediately pulled for it. So you can't call it a skydancer even if it's a book

Toy Box & Games Cupboard / Re: Neopets Reboot
« on: March 14, 2020, 10:08:16 PM »
Pokeyonekenobie - there was a problem a few years back where someone got a hold of a bunch of accounts' info somehow (or something like that); a lot of people's accounts got "frozen for their protection". Speaking as someone who got hit by this, 9/10 it ended up locking out the actual owner >_< For me it happened at the exact same time I lost access to the email it was hooked up to, took me months before someone with actual sense saw the proof I'd given (very specific info that no one else would be able to know) and decided to unfreeze.

I love Neo, but I'll admit that a BIG reason as to why I never do anything on there nowadays is because I'm terrified of losing my accounts because of something stupid. :/

I heard about the cartoon... well, I'll believe it when I see it. (I know the announcement's official, I'm not saying it's fake - but I've seen official announcements for stuff that never panned out before. :p) I remember the rumours about a Neopets movie years ago, that never happened. Really it feels like they're ~15 years too late; a lot of people dropped off after the site revamp, and even more dropped off once Jumpstart got their hands on it. It's just sad going on there now, seeing what it's become. Not like it used to be.

They've been sort of quietly releasing new merch every so often, from what I've seen, so that isn't new... I don't think Flash shutting down is necessarily a problem; the only things that relied on that were the games, maps and plot comics, and they've already fixed most of the maps. I'm pretty sure I remember them saying they're working on something for the games, too (might be misremembering though).

Well... I just hope they don't mess up the site any more. They've mentioned an app before, I guess we'll see how it pans out.. but a cartoon... I really can't see it... just feels odd. Especially after all this time.
That would explain why after all the reset your password emails I got I could never get back into the game.... I was only a casual player so not a big loss I moved onto chicken smoothie instead

oh my goodness I love the little cat cups from the bracelet set! I'm not big on the dolls but I love the whole concept and if they were more up my ally fashion wise I'd probably be into them
