Is good condition Majesty HTF?

I've had 5 or 6 of her over time. None really super white except for the MO version. I restored a playset one and she's quite white now... :o)

Unfortunately I don't believe that the hair line thing is an accurate description between MO and Playset Majesty - its just been an ongoing but never proven speculation. In addition I have seen MIP MO and MIP Playsey Majestys both with their hair line almost to the horn.

Its more likely that the hairline issue is simply a variation in the regular store bought playsets - the Dream Castle was released a lot and over multiple years and different countries. A slight change in manufacture is not surprising over all those hundreds of thousands [probably] of ponies.

In addition think about how many of us claim to have the "MO hair to the horn" Majesty - that is too many in the scheme of things. MO Majesty could only be purchased at the same time and in the same pack as all the other playset  MO ponies - yet how few MO Pink Sprikles and no freckle Tiddly Winks are in peoples collections? Far too few in comparison to how many Majestys there supposedly is.

If she's anything like the MO Rice Krispies baby, then maybe there could be TONS of her...

There are tons of the MO Rice Crispies Baby because of how she was distributed - you only needed the cereal proofs of purchase and (I believe?) a few dollars postage.  The MO playset ponies were distributed via insert flyer, and required money, pony points, and postage.  There were also plenty of other ponies on offer, so even if every child ordered a MO pony, they wouldn't necessarily all get the same one. 

hathorcat's reasoning is sound, there shouldn't be significantly more MO Majesty's than any of the others from the same set.

Hmm, I have a Majesty I've been meaning to put up for sale. I think she's in pretty good shape, too... I'll check tomorrow (it's 1:30 AM here) and maybe upload a pic if she actually is okay.

She's pretty white, although it is a creamy white and not a stark one. Her head is slightly more yellowed and would benefit from some peroxide or sunning. She still has purple eyes! Other than that, all she needs is a good hairstyling.

My favourite part of her is the symbols. They are near-perfect and have no glitter loss. The only flaw is one small factory paint smear on each side.

Ah, i found a pic. Poor Majesty, i forgot she had marks when i got her.
I cant really say if shes a mail order or not. I should sunbath her in the summer, so the marks will go away.

I have both the playset and MO version, the playset versions I have only found creamy white, or majorly mismatched heads, the MO versions I have had were always whiter so seems to not degrade as badly as the playset version

Interesting, I wonder if the ones with the more mane that folks call mail order are in fact just a later issue of her where they had changed the plastic base so she stays whiter?  Seems to be way too many of them around for them all to be mail order.

Thoth and I have not had much luck getting a good one, so far the two or three we have found have all had mis-matched heads and bodies.

Wich is rarer, MO majesty or playset majesty?

MO Majesty - she was only released within leaflets sent to fan club members and if I remember rightly off the top of my head only turned up in 2 [or maybe 3] leaflets at the very most. She should be as rare as the other MO ponies who were in the same set [Pink Sprinkles, etc who is very hard to find].

Sunbathing a white pony can lead to sunburn (brown splotches). I prefer white ponies to soak in peroxide for a few months.

I am not sure wether my majesty is MO or not.
Her hair is very near to the horn but her eyes are very purple
She has a glitter cutie mark.

Mine had a mismatch.  I sunfaded part of her, I want to say the head.  Matches nicely now.
