I remembered something else. Its small, but powerful, and something I love - lying  reading on a freshly made bed, with the windows open and curtains blowing and sun shining in.  Its something I love, and a feeling that takes me back to my childhood.

Great idea for a thread. Am going through a rough patch, on several fronts. This is a much needed reminder.
-Cloudy and or rainy day.
-Fall (my favorite season)
-Watching TV or a movie marathon with a good friend
-Sleeping in late
-Reading in bed
-Watching the pets nap (doing that right now. Four 9 week old kittens)
-Sound of a Harley roaring by. Or watching one.
-Riding shot gun in the car, radio blasting country or classic rock.
-Sound of the wind through the trees or making the wind chimes clink.
-Scent of lavender, sage, or the ocean.
-Putting on a warm hoodie when it's cold out.
-Black coffee and fresh donuts.

New material things, work, and my dog. Other than that stuff I really don't have any reason to live.

This list reminds me of a friend in college who would always ask people to list things that make them happy

Here are the things that make me feel more alive:
- walking my two dogs and watching them play together, they make me laugh so much
- my partner
- laughing really hard
- running
- listening to my favorite songs in the car
- sunny days
- walks in the rain
- the smell of peat moss
- a clean house (NOT cleaning the house)
- traveling/discovering new places near to and far from home
- getting off work early
- drinking my morning coffee outside before the rest of the world is awake, the possibilities for the day are endless
- reading a book in bed in the middle of the day and ending with a nap

Maybe I could even pick some tips from these lists Because I'm unfortunately a person who gets bored easily

But here's my list:
-warm weather
-watching documents
-visiting historical places
-learning new info about health
-exercising
-eating 
-swimming in the sea
-horseback riding in the woods
-watching shooting stars
-discussing with my closest friends
-making future plans & to do lists
-reading about my inspirational favourite celebrity
-hugs from boys

Wish all of these would happen more often!

This thread makes me really wish I could have a pet again. Not allowed on my lease, but if/when we get our own home, I'm TOTALLY getting a kitty. I think getting to pet one would really help my health improve. Perhaps there's a way to get a regular dosage of "Vitamin Cat" without being an actual owner.

-When I get to talk with my amazing friends who I love dearly
-Thrifting and spending quality time with my mom

-Anything and everything cute. I live off cuteness <3

-Drawing or any form of art
-Snuggling with animals, especially my guinea piggies <3
