Thank you for your inside;)
Cotton candy also has pat pend, she is stamped the same way as blossom, only there is al little height difference, cotton candy is just a little bit bigger, when i messure them between the rear legs, blossom is 3,9cm, cotton candy 4cm, when i do the same with front legs they both measure 3,5 cm.
But when you see them side to side like in one of the pics, cotton candy's back is higher than Blossom's...

« on: March 15, 2014, 02:13:13 AM »
I know Italian ponies where sold most often in The Netherlands.
But as you al know Italian ponies came in 4 diffrent molds/versions.
Does anybody know which one of the first year/collector ponies was sold as regular in the Netherlands?

To make the confusion a bit bigger:P
Check out the height difference in blossom and cotton candy, they are both Italy CF 1982 2 stamped with pad pent, both there heads lowerd.
But as you can see, cotton candy is a LITTLE  bit bigger....

So.....cotton candy : regular?
Blossom: dwarf?

MLP Nirvana / Flatfoot year one ponies VS Italian dwarf versions
« on: March 12, 2014, 01:46:01 PM »
I would like to know if the Italian CF dwarf versions of the first 6 ponies are similar to the flatfoot Hong Kong versions (except the bleu eyes, CF and maybe color)

I've read there where no FF Italien ponies released, only CF? so is it save to say that the CF dwarf versions of blossom, cotton candy, snuzzle, minty and bleu belle are the "Italien FF versions" ??

Thank you both for your reply, i think i've found my answer.
Someone on the Dutch pony forum told me there are 4 versions when it comes to Italian collector ponies

1. markings on all 4 feet - regulair version
2. markings on 2 feet, without pat pent - hunchback version
3. markings on 2 feet WITH pat pent, smaller than the other versions - Dwarf version
4. airbrushed eyes version (different color eye variations, also the hair & mold are a bit different)

My version of blossom and cotton candy are "dwarf versions" Butterscotsh and snuzzle are reculair version
I've been told the dwarf versions are a bit more rare, but now i read the ones with 4 feet markings are?
I'm from The Netherlands where Italien ponies where sold most often, maybe that's the difference?

MLP Nirvana / G1 collector ponies
« on: March 04, 2014, 02:03:51 PM »
Hi there,

I have just started collecting MLP, im focusing on the G1 collector ponies.
Just last week cotton candy, blossom, butterscotch and snuzzle arrived in the mail, all 4 are Italy CF ponies. (year 82 on feet)
Now there are 2 differences ...both cotton candy and blossom are marked on 2 feet and have there heads a bit down, now butterscotch and snuzzle are marked on 4 feet and have there heads a bit more upward in compare-sing with the other 2.

I found out that cotton candy and blossom are 1983 ponies from what i can see, but i can not place the other 2.....
Can anyone tell me what they are?

Introductions / Hi there
« on: March 03, 2014, 10:49:44 PM »
My name is Rowan, 34 years of age, married to Helma and father to our beautiful daughter Chavah.
As a little kid i use to play with girls who lived in our street, i think it was with them i came in contact with My little pony first.
I've always liked toys that where inspirering  and well designed, so i asked my parents for My little pony after seeing my friends having them.
This was way back in the 80's when applejack and bubbles where in toy stores everywhere, i remember having 4 ponies, but gave them away when i got older.

Now MANY years later they've got my eye again, my wife and i where watching a brony docu on Netflix, when nostalgic feelings came up.
I started looking at G1 MLP on the internet, and decided to collect the first 6 pony's from year one, the collector ponies just to display in my home office.

So, that's my story;)
