It's very wasteful, but i always hold the swab to the paint (to soften it & this technique i learned for glitter nail polish on my nails) and then wipe firmly ONCE. One swipe and then get a fresh swab. When i don't use this technique the color i remove in the first swipe gets redeposited in the now weaker vinyl structure.
I have a friend who only uses magic erase cleaning sponges and swears theres no better way to remove the paint without compromising the vinyl.
Haven't tried it myself cuz im used to my wasteful way.
I pour a small amount of acrtone into a dish & place my swabs in it so i can work quickly, picking up a fresh swab one after the other. I dont place used swabs back in the dish or it tints the acetone.

It'd have been cool to do them in neons or like colorswirl or hair do

Since this series had already demonstrated it's different chemical properties by breaking down, off gassing, hardening, and darkening....i thought I should make sure this one could handle acetone being poured into her to remove acrylic paint.
Does anyone know of any unusual reactions these particular g3s have to acetone?

I bet the antenna would go into holes on either side of the main betwixt their ears, like a fork with 2 prongs. And they'd be made of glow in the dark plastic.
Hasbro can DO glow in the dark toys *so* well. With the name, Fairy Brights, you just knew these were gonna glow way way better than the glow n show ever culd. (not that I don't love)
The ponies themselves would have been mostly translucent with metallic(or pearly) and glow in the dark swirls all throughout. Translucent plastic marbled with glow int he dark plastic and also metallic plastic.
The symbols would have had glow in the dark outlines painted on.
They would have had glow in the dark streaks in their hair, like Moon Dreamers, instead of tinsel. No more tinsel.
When they DIDN'T make this set I swore off ponies for a decade. I'd love to see someone cast a pony & do these justice.

WOW! That was really hard! I had to run her head under the hottest water at my sink for a few minutes.
But I got it *!* <3 thank yooouuu <3
Once the head was off the cap I could see the issue. And I carved the lip of the bottle down, so the cap screws on & sits lower. This prevents the lip inside her head from catching under the edge of the lid once it's popped on.
It pops off with relative easee now & is a usable container.
The bottle was brand new & still had the seal. The bubble bath inside is the most amazing pretty pink gel. If I didn't need super natural personal care products I'd absolutely use it.
But, as I cannot use it I think I'll pour it slowly over a pony and film that. Yup ^ -^

( my Rainbow Dash waterfall G3 Bubble Bath container got cracked and it's soap ruined so much stuff I was gonna have to pitch Pinkie if I couldn't get her open & emptied. I love the way her symbol was printed on in such a thin layer that the balloons have an authentic transparent appearance; I can see the blue balloon *thru* the yellow one.
