We got 4 FREE G1s!

This is a little belated since it's been nearly a month, but I just thought this was awesome. 

So, my daughter had her b-day on a Wed, and got like 21 G1s from me and my mom combined, then the next weekend she went to a friends b-day party and when I went to pick her up, she was clutching 4 ponies(and trying to grab more!)  The mom said she could have the ones in her hand, but she had to leave a few.  Fine, the other 2 she was trying to grab were baity.  I told her how sweet she was and asked if they were her childhood ponies.  Indeed they were!  I wanted to offer her money for them, but since I was kind of broke from the big Birthday blowout, I didn't.  Seriously, my daughter and 4 of her friends have May birthdays. 

Anyway, here are the pics, they still need a bath, except for Ringlet, she got all cleaned up.  You can't really tell in the picture, but Ringlet has some marker stains on her face.  When we got her she was real dirty, had really frizzy bad hair, and red marker scribbles all over her face.  Must have been washable marker because it mostly came off and easily.

Is one of these newborn babies a variant?  One has purple eyes, one has blue.  In the G1 Collectors book they are both blue.

Those are new born identical twins They should each have a birthmark in a different spot on them, like a bow or flower or heart or something!! How sweet that they're still together!!

Also, I'm in total envy of your ringlets, she's huge on my want list! Congrats

Yep, they do have the birthmarks.  I was pretty thrilled about Ringlet too, even though she looked really rough I knew I could clean her up

There is a very rewarding feeling that comes from cleaning up a preloved pony <3 She looks so lovely now!

Huh, I've never actually seen a pair of newborn twins IRL.  How cool that their eyes are different colours.  Congrats

That is awesome!  You daughter clearly has fantastic taste, how old is she?    It was super sweet of that mom to let your daughter keep some of her childhood ponies too, that's incredibly generous of her!    I love those newborn twins!

Zennabug-  She is 9, and my 6 yr old is pretty obsessed also...except she likes fakies and my 9 yr old does not(not I for that matter).  We won't let her put any fakies on display:p

i think the one with blue eyes is just faded ... my set of those nbt's has the darker magenta hair and purple eyes, yours with blue seems to have some hair fade going on too maybe? i'll double check my set when i go home in a bit, but looks faded to me bust super cute! babies with baby blues are even more adorable!

Thanks everyone!  They are pretty ponies.  We are very lucky and thankful  .  I will have to do something nice for her.
