Alan Rickman passed away !

I feel like my childhood is dying, one favourite at a time! 69 seems far too young to die! Especially when you still have so much talent to share with the world!

Alan Rickman was one of my top favorite actors, and I just wish I would have had the opportunity to see him perform onstage as well as on film, or perhaps to meet him someday; he was excellent in all his roles, but first and foremost for me, he'll always be my Col. Brandon (from Emma Thompson's adaptation of Sense & Sensibility).

Remember, people don't want you to feel sorry for them.  They want you to remember them for the things that made you happy.


Theres no need for doom and gloom guys..its just an unfortunate but natural process.  Atleast now hes not hurting or in pain.

I love Truly, Madly, Deeply.  Unfortunately, I think it's out of print.

Amazing actor.  Loved him in Love Actually, also.

I first saw him in Love Actually, which is one of my favorite movies.  Then in Harry Potter, it is funny how he played a villain in that movie, but was still likeable.  It takes talent to do that.

This really makes me sad. I remember watching him first in Dogma & of course the Harry Potter movies. We've lost amazing people this year so far, and it's just Jan. First Lemmy, Bowie, now Alan...they always say it comes in 3's.

Favorite role of his is in DOGMA; he was hilarious in that!  Loved him in the Harry Potter series as well.  Gonna celebrate his work by re-watching these this weekend. RIP Alan Rickman. <3

First fell in love with him in Robin Hood Prince of Thieves, and after that every movie I've seen with him (even just as a voice actor) I've adored them if only for his part in them. He really was a talented and gifted man.

What a horrible start to the year. David Bowie and now Alan Rickman. As well as Brian Bedford (the voice of Disney's Robin Hood). I've been rewatching a lot of there movies this week.  It's so sad to lose so many talented people so close to each other. At least they left behind great movies and music for everyone to remember and enjoy.
