If I ever have to sell my collection for any reason, those would be the ones I would love to keep.

That's a difficult question, because I like a lot of them.
As a child, I loved Bride Sissi and Baby Würfelchen, but Baby Betty with her rabbit, too. Now, I love Posey, Taf Nightglider (but I don't own one, it's too rare in Germany), the picknick Pony, Baby Würfelchen, Baby Lemon Drop and Family Meadowsweet. And my only French Nirvana Bow Tie with white hair. I like the combination of a blue body with white hair the most. But when I start to think about it, there are so much more adorable ponies...
In the G3, it's easy: Minty with her christmas hat. Soooo adorable! And I like Starbeam. Both ponies are part of my herd.

This is really tough, because I only buy ones I like!! Mostly I would have to say it's my childhood ponies, I've still got them, about 30ish of them.
Cherries Jubilee was my first pony, store bought. I still love her, and now I have her baby too!! Who I also love.
Posey, Wind Whistler, Parasol, Sunlight.... The list could go on!! Love my Baby Parasol custom made by PKW.
My husband bought me Baby Applejack a few years ago, so she's special to me, love her!!
I'd better leave it at that cos I could be here all night listing ones I love and why!!

Princess Crystal - her colour scheme is out of this world! I love her planet symbol too. She's also in my favourite pose. Definitely the most unique princess of G2. Can't get enough!

Beauty Parlor (SLH) Ivy - Wow! I was lucky enough to buy a beautiful one with her hair uncut and silky. She is completely stunning - that hair is divine. Another one in my favourite pose too.

G1 sparkle Sky Rocket has always been at the top of my favorites list. I've had her for as long as I can remember and she's probably the reason why I love shimmery ponies and/or tinsel in their hair.

Another current favorite is Fashion Style Shining Armor. I already like the FS size and Shining Armor is my favorite of the G4 boy ponies. Plus that weird mohawk he's sporting is awesome. How many other ponies have mohawks? The only other one I can think of is Zecora.

I also love G3 Ribbon Wishes. Her colors are simply striking! Sure she's pink but it's incredibly dark and goes well with the deep purple, blue, and turquoise hair she's got.

My favorite childhood pony that I still have is Princess Sparkle. But my current faves in my herd are:
