Does anybody like Sofia The First?

I watched this out of sheer boredom one day but now I actually really enjoy it, lol. Infact, I find most of Disney Junior's programming lately to be far superior to the regular Disney Channel. They at least show real Disney movies and a lot of their shows are cute.

I've always liked all of the Disney Princess fairytale stuff anyway, but given the age demographic this show is geared towards I wasn't sure I would really enjoy it outside of finding something cute to bring in for the kids I work with to watch but I actually watch this now as much as I do Pony when I'm not watching my other shows, lol.

I really like it too. Have you watched Doc McStuffins? That's my favorite! She's so much like me. We both clean and repair toys.

I have watched most of it and it is way too cute! I also like Doc McStuffins! They're both great shows!

I love it!  I grabbed it from the library and I loved how they worked everyone into the Disney canon!  I mean they could even have a Kingdom Hearts crossover and nobody would blink...

I've seen a lot of the episodes but not all of them. I think most of the episodes are pretty good but there are a few that I didn't like.

One thing I like about Disney Junior is it reminds me of the old Disney Channel back when they didn't run commercials during the shows and when they had the old Disney classics on the Disney Channel

I've never seen it, and in fact only been exposed to it through the toys on the shelves of my local Target. Would someone like to enlighten me as to what it is and what makes it so great?

I am actually watching it with my daughter right now While I don't think I would watch it by myself it is not too bad....I like the music and how they incorporate the other Disney princesses. Especially the movie where she turns into the mermaid....and Ariel comes to help her.

And to answer your question moonsugar....it is about a little girl that was a regular girl and then somehow becomes a princess and has to learn how to do everything like a princess.  I missed the part of how she becomes one....I think her mom married the king or something. As to why its so great??? ummm....I don't know...probably because its Disney. I'm sure people like it for different reasons.

It's a massive guilty pleasure for me.  While I find Sofia herself kind of bland, I do like Cedric and Amber.

You're right GloomyGirl. Sofia's mother married King Roland and she became Princess Sofia,
