My New Puppy

For those of you that have followed me on the boards, you'll know I was getting a puppy. Well, I figured I would put an update up with pictures : ) My puppy just flew in a couple days ago and its been a hectic two days, but also so rewarding. Her name is Jenny and she is a blue merle Pomeranian with tan points. She is only eight weeks old, but she has such a great personality already. She is healthy and loves affection. I literally BAAWWW'D when I  saw this, I LOVE poms She is soo cute, is she miniature? My friend had a merle named Pancake, I love that coloring.

Rhini, there is no such thing as a miniature Pomeranian. They are not like poodles, that come in different sizes. However, the size range for a pom, can be anywhere from 4 to 15 pounds. Jenny will probably be about 10 pounds, since that was the size of her mother.

As for everyone saying that they have never seen a Pomeranian in this color, it would be unlikely they would. It's pretty new to the breed. However, if you Google merle Pomeranian, you'll find lots of examples of the color.
