Hi guys!

It's been almost 10 years (I think) since I last posted on the TP/Arena/etc. I've always missed the boards, but it didn't seem to make sense to return as I had stopped collecting ponies and started to focus on fashion dolls instead. Now I learned that this board welcomes both pony and doll collectors, soooo... :mrgreen: I don't actively collect anything anymore, but I pick up the odd doll (usually Monster High these days) every once in a while.

About me - I was born in 1979 and live on the countryside in Austria, Europe, together with three cats (10 years old), my boyfriend and our daughter who was born last June. Before I got pregnant I studied Ancient History on the University of Vienna. As much as I love to be a stay at home mom, I can't wait to go back to university.

I hope your cats never get their paws 'n claws on the boxes of ponies + your dolls! I'd love to display my ponies on a shelf but most of the time keep them in a box as well, for fear my cat would kill their hair when I don't look  >_<

Haha, OMG!! I DO consider my cats naughty but they have never done that. I used to have all my stuff on display while I was actively collecting, but now most of it is packed away.. and some of the rest will have to be moved (at least to higher shelves) as soon as my baby starts to walk. She's a much bigger threat to my toys than the cats!  ^.^

Aw well, your kitties are better behaved than my rapscallion-ish miniature tiger then. Congratulations! Cannot say anything about babies and collectibles (I'm the youngest in my family and as a toddler never destroyed anything my mum says - at least not on purpose  ^.^ ) but I imagine that might be a problem if your little one got her hands on sth. with small parts, yes. Gosh, cats AND a baby, must be a really lively household![/color]
