There are actually 2 versions of Baby Starbow Just like with Pretty Beat and Sweet Pocket. Many non-US places got the version with purple hair, while the US mainly got the ones with blue hair (but there are cases of the opposites happening too, so there was some randomness to it I believe).

Yes, mine was bought in Europe (Portugal or Germany) and she has a blue streak

Those are actually her "cheek mark" . . . like the way High Flyer has a little dragonfly on her forehead.  Lady Flutter has spots to represent her ladybug symbol.

There is red haired tootsie (prototype variant who knows) bought from the rhode island hasbro employee store in the 80's.... she is one of two identical ponies found total like her. There are two unfinished pegasi.. one suprise pose one newborn. a moondancer without her stripe or holes for her stripe. and a super rare resin prototype of art time with reversed symbols.

I live in Rhode Island, right near Hasbro's headquarters. I should go to more yard/garage sales, haha.

I love that red haired Tootsie.  I would even say it looks better than her usual blue.

She was from the same catalog as the one that "Baby Truly" was in.

Also, here's a picture of my prototype So-Soft Heart Throb from Rhode Island.  The "real" one had plain hearts, not winged hearts.  I don't know why they changed her, because the wings are totally visible and very pretty!

Hey just a couple if questions about the creep Sunlight; she was up for auction right? Did anyone find out who got her and how much for? Was it proven that she was legit and not a custom?

Also if that baby prototype Truly was found, how much do you think she'd go for at auction? I'm thinking ALOT she's so cute!

The painted Schooltime Ponies were found at a carboot sale in the UK (in High Wycombe if memory serves), so technically that means she's not a USA variant I think there's three of the four Schooltime ponies, a Baby Explorer and then two of the three seaside babies that are what appears to be painted prototypes, but they're all European rather than USA ponies.

She vanished She was in a lot which got a lot of attention so the seller pulled it and then relisted them - then the relisting got pulled. She is probably in a collection somewhere, I am guessing there was a little behind the scenes, off ebay dealing going on lol!

Hopefully one day she will resurface so we can find out if she was legitimate.
