BBE Sunlight is watching yoooou.  ALWAYS WATCHING.

My theory on her is that she was a "test pony" when they were first coming up with the BBE idea.  I remember a catalog that showed a "BBE Baby Ember", who was also never officially released.

She reminds me a bit of the Spanish piggy ponies, only a lot more creepy.

Actually, seeing this makes me wonder if other rainbow ponies from this particular year were originally planned as BBEs as well... I'm really curious!

Also LadyMoondancer, do you happen to have any pic of BBE Baby Ember? I'd love to see that one.

She was from the same catalog as the one that "Baby Truly" was in.

Also, here's a picture of my prototype So-Soft Heart Throb from Rhode Island.  The "real" one had plain hearts, not winged hearts.  I don't know why they changed her, because the wings are totally visible and very pretty!

Red haired tootsie variant/prototype with slightly different symbol. Bought from the rhode island factory store in the 80's
Prototype art time with backwards symbol and peach body
two white unfinished ponies - surprise pose and newborn pose
a moondancer without any streak in her mane nor holes for the streak
Mint in Box factory error honeysuckle without mechanism for wings - uk oddball

There are actually 2 versions of Baby Starbow Just like with Pretty Beat and Sweet Pocket. Many non-US places got the version with purple hair, while the US mainly got the ones with blue hair (but there are cases of the opposites happening too, so there was some randomness to it I believe).
