If I were a pony I'd be like 'YO, YO! Hey, seriously, ya all better brush my hair. Do you see how ratty this is? They don't care how my hair looks when they put me in the box, they don't care, they just shove me in there, don't even check. My brother? His neck is glued solid. He can't turn his head! They don't care about that stuff, I do! Do something about this hair. I would, but I don't have prehensile appendages, I don't know why they even give us a comb. What am I supposed to do with that? Have you tried brushing your hair with a comb in your mouth? Do it! Give it a try, then you'll know what's up. Also, let's go to Sonic. Have you tried their Batter Blasters? Oh my god they're so good. I know I'm a plastic pony and I don't have a digestive system, but trust me, they're awesome'.

I would definitely like to be loose and played with, but definitely with the kid who does not have access to the sharpies/scissors or makeup.  :)  That said, I would want to be free and I'd want to go on adventures - like the toys in Toy Story.

Haha, Toy Story is the reason why I can't bear to leave my stuff in boxes. DX At the same time, I lovingly take care of them. I even change up their clothes so they can have a change of pace!

Out of box, but displayed (cleaned when need to). Though, with G1s-G3s, I'd keep them in their box (if the bexes aren't destroyed).
