I'd probably like to be a custom bait. On one hand, I've definitely been loved and played with, and on the other, I'm full of potential to become beautiful. :3

If I were a pony, I think I'd like to be played with and loved. I'd stifle in a box or under a card. I'd probably even be taken outside to play in the yard or playground. Hopefully, however, I'd not be left outside overnight. My hair would get brushed and braided a lot, and I'd probably have lots of play wear put on me. I wouldn't be surprised if I got tail rust or something like that.

If I were a pony, I'd want to be played with. Probably by an older owner so I can look pretty while doing it. And have tons of friends to play with when the owner can't. And to have pictures taken of me.

I treat my ponies the way'd I'd want to be treated if I were a pony:
I carefully dismantle their boxes, preserving them, but IMMEDIATELY freeing the pony inside.  I've never gotten any MIB G1's but I'd LOVE to do that to one of them someday...  Poor things, trapped with no love or affection for almost thirty years...
I wash them (if they're dirty) and condition their hair.
I put them somewhere with lots and lots of other ponies, so they aren't lonely.
Then we play with them!  And after every play session, they get a hair brushing.
I like my ponies to be pretty and presentable...  But mostly, I want them to be loved.
 
But yeah, if I were a pony I would definitely want to be owned by an older owner.  Or, if I was owned by a little girl, one who is gentle with her toys and treats them well, and would never grow up to be the kind of young lady who leaves her toys in an attic or basement, sells them, or worse yet--throws them out.  I'd want to be loved forever!  And if I got old and decrepit and started to fall apart, I'd want an owner with the skills to repair me, repaint me, and keep my looking my best!
