My new lovely miss

i just finished cleaning her up. shes my first G1 in 14 years and my second overall. she was caked in dirt so i had to scrub pretty hard. the paint on the saddle... thing... and harness are a little faded in areas, the tail has a bit of rust, the plug holes are black (pretty sure its just dirt i cant get to), and theres a scuff on the right front hoof (ill use acetone to try remove it tomorrow) but apart from that shes in perfect condition

One good way to remove the tail rust is to pop the tail out, soak (only the rusty part!) in some nailpolish remover and manipulate it abit, then find a replacement washer and pop it back in!

ive started rehairing using some stuff from Kmart. its rather dry but i think after a good condition it will act better. rehairing is painfully frustrating though...

should really have taken a before shot... seriously, i understated the level of dirt. i was worried that there was no pony underneath it
