Personal Interview-
Greetings!  How exciting to be asked to participate! 

Where did you get your user name?
Like many others, the old website where we "claimed" My Little Pony names.  My favorite pony name at the time was taken, so this was also a good choice.  Later my ex-girlfriend would mail me a Baby Squirmy, who still sits on my keyboard and is adorable.

How old are you?
*blank stare* why would you want to know a thing like that?  LOL j/k  I am old enough that G1 was my childhood and from the age of 3-11, I almost always had a pony with me.

Do you go to school or work?
Right now I work full-time in data analytics for a non-profit.  I would love to go back to school though.  I don't technically have a bachelor's degree - I'm like 4 credit hours short of one!  D:  and it's far too long to be able to transfer credits, so I'd have to start over. 

What are your hobbies?
Living in my imagination, researching for my books, creating miniature things for my dolls and ponies.  I read manga, watch anime, draw, sew, and I also do a lot of activism! 

Do you have any pets?
I have a 13 year old cat - he has half a tail, and 4 teeth.  and he is fluffy, very fluffy!

What do you like/dislike about yourself?
I like that I am good at my job and my hobbies.

I dislike that I am not great with social situations and people.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Somewhere with a beach ; except during storm season, then I would want to be elsewhere.  the mountains, maybe? 

Do you collect anything other than ponies?
Care Bears, Dolls in all scales, anime figures, manga, coins, books, rocks, Get Along Gang, Lady Lovely Locks, Poochie, Mary-Kate and Ashley merch, Hello Kitty, pandas, red pandas, some LEGO, Disney's Figment the Dragon, 1988 Calgary Olympic Mascots, and probably other things I can't remember

Ponies-

How long have you been collecting ponies?
Since I was 3. 

Why did you start collecting ponies?
My mom bought me a Powder and gave it to me for Christmas.

Who is your favorite pony and why?
Powder, Baby Squirmy, Angel.  They are all beautiful! 

Who is your least favorite pony and why?
I do not really like the Eyelash Princess ponies.  I don't like the Secret Surprise ponies either.  They just look clunky.

Who is your favorite pony from another country?
Brazil MilkyWay or South African Bubbles!

What is your favorite variant?
I love the August birthflower G1 from Australia

Who is your favorite fakie?
Chesty!  He has this huge tuft of chest hair and it's just amazing.

Who was your first pony?
Powder.

What pony did you get recently?
I haven't purposefully added a MLP to my life in several years...

What is your favorite generation?
Definitely G1. 

What is your favorite part about collecting?
I really love searching secondhand stores and markets for them.  *gets out gloves*

How big is your collection?
My childhood herd and a few gifts!  It used to require its own room and I had almost all of the North American G1 but I sold it all off over the years.  I also once had to purge my entire nearly complete G3 collection when I moved to Canada but that was all donated to children.

What do your friends and family think about your collection?
They are amused by it.

Do you still play with your ponies?
I brush them and style them and pose them and admire them.... that's what they did in the commercials, so I guess... yes?

What rare or popular pony makes you ask why!?
I think that prices in general make me ask, 'WHY?!'

If you had to have a pony symbol tattooed on your butt, which would you pick and why?
I almost have Baby Squirmy's symbol scarred onto my upper arm, so... I'm good, thanks.  And parts... of it were somewhat accidental...

If you could have any pony remade in a different generation, who would you choose and why?
I like re-mixing G1 and G3.  I think that G2 could have more appreciation as well. 

What has been the worst part about collecting?
Prices.  Shipping.  People wanting to scam each other and be hurtful over plastic horses.

What is your ultimate collecting goal?
Continue being part of the community and having friends with like interests!

What is your biggest collecting accomplishment?
Like I said, I had almost all of the North American G1 but I sold it all off over the years.  Or donating a near-complete G3 collection  to children and the thrift shop that benefited the local hospital.

What is your biggest collecting regret?
I don't have one!

Who is your grail pony and why?  Do you have it?
I would love any of the Takara ponies but definitely they are out of my price range!

Do you prefer loose or MIP ponies?
Ponies should be free!

Do you collect Nirvanas?
Not on purpose, the ponies from Greece I have are a totally random find

Nope, and I don't think I would want to.

What do you think of custom ponies?
I don't collect them, but they are pretty. 

What are acceptable and unacceptable pony flaws, in your opinion?
I don't have an unacceptable flaw in a pony that I want to keep!  Many  of them have lots of flaws!

Would you rather have a bait pony or a fakie?
Either is fine, I don't discredit fakies

Do you watch pony shows/movies?Which ones?
No but I have seen G1/Tales , G3 and some of G4.  G5 is totally not my thing.

Do you read pony comics? Which ones?
No.

What is the worst thing you've ever done to a pony?
Thrown it away!  >.<

I'm with everybody on Chesty. Like, when you said chest hair, I thought "cute hair-effect moulding on the chest", but instead we have "rooted hair you can literally braid in the chest"!!!

I love chesty! He's amazing!! What is the story behind him? I thought the most unique fakie I've ever seen is Concerned Pony but he really si something. Lovely to read your interview. I'm insprired by how you've collected and also given stuff away over the years.
