Have this guy, honestly not my favorite and that's a lot said since I actually do like baseball as a sport...

Starting from the very beginning of MLP this year. Will continue to dedicate the first few days to birthday ponies in celebration of those born within that month.

I have him, and used to have his hat and bandana but it got lost at some point after several moves. I used to put them on my hamster and do silly photoshoots. Special Guy was very tolerant of dress-up.

Alas, the clothes are gone but Slugger remains!

I am a bit conflicted about this set as they remind me of Disco. Also, most of the symbols are about something you need hands for, which is one of my silly *things*. That is a gorgeous picture though and he's a gorgeous pony!

Re Slugger's UK name: First Base. WHY have the States used baseball terms for NSFW topics??? I don't get it...

First Base, etc relating to dating are super old terms. I don't think the new(er) generations really use them anymore. Men are much more vulgar and to the point about that kind of thing now.

As far as the pony goes, I like him.

Honestly I've never really heard "first base" used much anyway, it's the 'later' terms I hear used as slang more. Although maybe that's just what I've encountered and it's used more in other places, I dunno.

First base isn't NSFW anyway, it's just kissing. :p

Definitely prefer his US name though. First Base is too clunky, doesn't sound like a name at all. Granted, it's hardly the only pony name to feel like that.

Anyway, I have him, he's one of my favourite boys ^^ I love his colours. Though I wish his hat fit better, not a fan of how it covers his eyes. I love the idea, just not the execution.
