A day at the beach

It seems like forever since I had a beach day, with splashing in rock pools, collecting shells and pebbles, making sandcastles, swimming and then reading under a parasol... etc.

There are so many great holiday and beached-themed ponies... please feel free to post yours!

Just about to hit the hottest day on record here in the UK so your post brought a smile to my face - I yearn to go to the beach!!

I may settle on arranging some ponies about my shell collection instead, hehe! Thanks for the inspiration!!

You're welcome, I have some new ideas too but may need to wait until it cools down before I get my camera out. I just discovered that Baby Beachball and Baby Splashes make a very cute pair of friends!

Awesome! It must be so different seeing the Pacific! Big animals too. I don't think the English Channel is quite the same...

You know, I've been to the beaches a lot living in Florida and all, but I never brought along a pony. I think I have some old pics of ponies by the pool, but they're on my old laptop.

I love these pictures. LAW, your first one is awesome in particular :D

I was thinking how awesome it would be to see the Pacific as well, then I realised that I think I already did see it. Except that Kamakura was grey and cloudy and it looked pretty bleak at the time (LOL). Most of the sea I saw when I was in Japan was either sea of Japan or some other sea but Kamakura's on the east coast.

I've flown over the mediterranean and that was pretty vivid bloo in colour. Nothing like the sea (north sea/atlantic??) around the UK, which is legit grey ;)

Thinking about it, I've not spent a huge amount of time looking at the Atlantic either :/

As for beach ponies, I have a picture of Fluttsi in the sand at Miyajima, but I can't find it right now ><

The Atlantic is a deep blue. At least the parts I've seen. The Gulf of Mexico is green and extremely salty.

These are related to the competition that used to be on the Finnish pony forum (oh how I miss those times), that's why they are a bit strange... (electric candlestick, little pony in a wine glass...)  :lmao:
