Hasbro Softies plush Moondancer symbol staining?

I was very lucky to get this plush Moondancer from a yard sale for 50 cents!

But as you can see, it seems the dye from the moon on her symbol has somehow rubbed off and instead stained her fur?

Does anyone know how I can remove the stain, and restore her symbol?

i dont know about restoration, but surface wash with a little water/detergent/soap should do the trick personally i love to use these oxiclean stain remover pens. you just squeeze the handle and a bit of the solution comes out, you scrub it in to the stain for a bit (it has a scrubber built in) and i like to dab it with a paper towel afterwards just so it's not so wet & leave to dry. works like a charm most of the time and has been really helpful with plush i get that might have some stainage, like your moondancer here.

might want to be a bit careful around the symbols incase you bring out any more dye from the remaining parts!

Oh, I will pick up one of those pens and try! Good idea.
I am worried to wash her, because I went to try to wipe it off with a damp towel and the remaining color on the symbol started to smear off into her fur more, if that makes any sense.

Interesting.  I haven't noticed that with any of my plush (but they're in storage right now so I can't double check any).  I almost wonder if the color faded on the stars and someone tried using a marker to color it in. The moon itself is white or silver so the red color shouldn't be coming off of that.

Looks like yours is the mouth open version.

Red usually comes out in the wash. Someone might have washed her before. Try the stain removing pen. You can also try a baking soda vinegar paste. Use a toothbrush to scrub the area (don't get it on her symbols, well, the moon symbol would be fine).
