I have him.

Starting from the very beginning of MLP this year. Will continue to dedicate the first few days to birthday ponies in celebration of those born within that month.

I got him hes neat. I like his hair style its awesome.

He is a childhood pony for me.

I remember begging Mum and Dad to let me send off for him.

I remember him coming...I think it was a little white box...with his white moon comb and his little bowtie.

I think it was 1986 or early 1987, bearing in mind where we were living at the time. 1986 seems more likely.

I also still have the little piece of paper that came with him, the letter from Megan

This is my original one from childhood hence why it's been well folded.

HOW I managed to keep that one through two house moves and a whole childhood, and yet lost all my Mountain Boy stickers is still a bit of a mystery -.-

My daughter has him, I'll pass on him. Don't like that pose. I'll never understand why Hasbro calls him a stallion?

He was a childhood pony. I still have all the color pamphlets with him in it too. I loved looking at them when they arrived in the mail. I only had two mail order ponies though as a child, him and Satin 'n Lace. I always pretended he was the ring-bearer.

I like this pose a lot. Wish Hasbro used it more.

I don't think he was ever marketed as a stallion over here. I think just as the first baby boy pony. And there was no wedding association either, not even with Confetti, so he had a completely different kind of persona. He had happy go lucky magic that sometimes led to unexpected consequences...like bringing drawings of newborn twins to life.

He was one of the few actual horseshoe point mail order ponies that happened in the UK - most of the others available on those offers here also had store releases. He was one of the few who didn't (like the club babies, and Embers.) And a lot was made of him as the first baby boy pony. In a time when there were no adult boy ponies.

I never saw Majesty as a 'mother' to Lucky, or to any of the other ponies. More a kind of guide and wise leader figure. But, thinking about it, Lucky did seem to have some special priveleges over many of the other baby ponies. Maybe because he was Spike's particular best friend...

I am pretty sure Baby Lucky 'found' the Mountain Boys (coincidentally the first adult boy ponies in the UK) by ending up on Misty Mountain, and I'm certain he was involved, with Spike, in finding Baby Half Note, and it ended up with them all sharing the same birthday.

But for the life of me I can't remember his comic introduction story at all :/

Anyway, I have him, and his comb and bow tie ^^ Found him at a collector shop a few years ago. He's soooo cute. It took me a little while to warm up to this boy mold (I love the feathered hooves on the other baby boy mold) but it is adorable.

She probably did. I'm thinking it might be in a comic that I didn't have as a child, since the stories I tend to remember are ones I read over and over when I was little. BUT I had my first comic in 1986, the same year he came out...so I might not have had that one till later. I can't get at my comics right now, they have ponies living on top of the files

Then again I might just have forgotten. Age can do that you know

I do have that comic. From childhood, too. But I genuinely don't remember that story. Majesty + barrel, huh. Well, ok then. I love LM's note on it that it's not the weirdest instance. The pony comic is special.

...I'm going to put it down to age then, that I don't remember it Poor braincells got a bit fried doing the PhD

I guess then Space Pinto is right about the 'Mummy' aspect

Also some hints about Spike's heritage in there too...a land of dragons, a great grandfather...and a cultural tradition??
