Have both as just store releases, not in the best of condition either...

Starting from the very beginning of MLP this year. Will continue to dedicate the first few days to birthday ponies in celebration of those born within that month.

I only have the Basic Fun versions; the originals seem to be very hard to find in good condition. I thought the Starflower I was buying was original when I bought her on Ebay, but when she arrived it was apparent that she was not...she had been advertised in a small lot with a g3 pony listed as 'vintage ponies. More irritating to me was her mullet haircut, carefully hidden in the sale post photos.

Have regular of both & a keyring figure of Pinwheel. There's also a keyring figure of Starflower too

Oh, I love Starflower!    I have a regular version of her and i want other versions.
I had a really bad Pinwheel. I customized it. Now it is living its new life as a princess pony.  I also want different versions of Pinwheel.

That must have been disappointing. I'd probably have complained. They are still beautiful though. I found second set rainbows were the trickiest early G1 to get, I think it took me around 2 years.

I like how colorful they are.   I wish their symbols were a little bigger.

I don't have either of them, their color schemes don't appeal to me very much.  I like Pinwheel's symbol, though, seems like a perfect pony symbol.

REALLY want Starflower, she's so cute! Never quite got round to getting her, though. Don't think I ever found the Basic Fun ver or I'd have picked her up by now.

I can never decide if I like Pinwheel or not, sometimes I do and then other times, I'm not so sure. Gotta think more about her.

These are more of those ponies that were a part of my childhood in the comics but not in the stores (Hasbro grr). I always loved the rainbow ponies as a kid even though we only had Confetti from the second set.

I know I have the originals and BF for both. I think one of them I got in a store in London (BF I mean), I think it was Pinwheel. I think Starflower came off Amazon but I'm 99% sure the store in Sutton was the only place I ever saw both of them. So even the BF release of these two specifically was a bit awkward here IMO.

I have Italian versions of both. I can't remember whether I got them through trade or whether one came locally. I know I have at least one Spanish Pinwheel as she's MOC. I don't think I have any others. I'm not sure though.

It was disappointing. I didn't exactly complain, but I think I left positive feedback but in the comments mentioned the haircut. I gave them the benefit of the doubt; I don't think it was a collector I bought them from, probably just some parent scooping up their kids' toys and thinking they looked clean so they're in good condition. Maybe someday when life calms down I'll rehair the cut plugs.

Pinwheel is one of my favorite ponies.  I remember being a child and visiting my great grandmother, and while there we went to a drugstore where I purchased Pinwheel.  She and Windy were my childhood rainbow ponies. Later, as an adult, I was so glad to find another Pinwheel to replace my long lost childhood pony.  Then when I found a Starflower, I thought she was just as beautiful.

I have the Italian Starflower from Gaspode. As for Pinwheel I want the original version and her Italian version.
