POTD 3/21/2022 Sparkler

I have both BF versions and I've made several attempts at getting a good vintage one, but they always arrive with something wrong that wasn't in the listing; stains, cut forelock, etc....I just can't seem to get a good one! I gave up once I got my BF ones; I'm happy enough with those.

She was technically the first pony I ever got as a child, but promptly lost her right away.

My controversial opinion is that the 1st Basic Fun version, with red in her tail, looks better than the vintage version.

But I do love her either way.

I agree that the red tail version looks better! But I don't prefer the half-and-half mane. If the BF heads weren't so hard to get back on, I'd swap their heads out to make a frankenpony!

She's so pretty! I have an original one in surprisingly good condition, and the retro one with red in her tail, which I also prefer to the solid tail.

Have her! She's soooo lovely, I really adore her unusual colours. I really wish they'd made a baby for her!

Another favourite. Really lovely. I pretty much love all the early G1s though.

I love Sparkler, she's one of my favorite ponies, and the first G1 I ever got.
