Restoring Symbols on G1's - Cricutter

Hi guys, so I have a few G1's whose symbols are almost completely gone, so it's not a simple painting over sort of job.

Have been looking at possibly investing in a Cricutter to create stencils for airbrushing them on.  Anyone had experience doing this?

I have been thinking about doing something like that for AGES! You could even sell cutie mark templates on Etsy if you wanted. I feel like that would be hugely useful. Love your idea!

I made a Ladybird stencil for my standing ladybird custom. I bet you can guess who the bait is lol. Anyhow, a Cricutter looks a lot easier!

This does sound very nice, if you're able to buy one you should try it. And yes making stencils for people to buy would be a good idea too.

Oh I hadn't thought about selling stencils, but that's such a cool idea!

I think I'll take the plunge and buy a cutter next month and let everyone know how I get on.

I haven't had the best of luck with doing the symbols for my "Mystic" custom, used the baking paper transfer trick a number of times, but just can't get it right... and I don't think of poor Posey bait can take much more re-stripping down to start all over again.

I've done her head and her new mane is looking top notch (was rather pleased with my first attempt at eyes as well) and she's been missing her body for months
