One of my favorite childhood ponies had him and my mom helped me make a more appropriate accessory and not a headdress. To reflect our people and one I would've worn while dancing (boys southern grass dance). War bonnets and head dresses are sacred items, never to be depicted as toys.

I have him, I think he's my favourite G1 boy! I just love that bright orange colour. I don't have his accessories, though, as the headdress alone usually costs twice as much as the pony did...Quote from: Leave a Whisper on August 10, 2019, 06:36:52 PMQuote from: Sky_Rocket_Sammie on August 10, 2019, 06:28:11 PMOne of my favorite childhood ponies had him and my mom helped me make a more appropriate accessory and not a headdress. To reflect our people and one I would've worn while dancing (boys southern grass dance). Despite my love for Wigwam, I feel conflicted because of the kind of casual cultural appropriation that was still common two or three decades ago (and to some extent, still is... but at least I hope toy producers these days would show some more awareness and respect...?).
