I think she looks adorable in the image on the back of the box... but something about the face on the actual pony is off to me... maybe the angle?

edit: really looks like the eyes are different and the face mold is longer/taller on the figure.

There is something about her eyes that is just... wrong
I don't know she might just have a bad case of cross eye XD
Also, what's up with the horn? It looks a bit, plainer than usual.

Her horn is the part that is color changing.  There's also a clear plastic cone on top of it to further protect it.

I also think it's the lighting that is causing the difference between the pic on her box and the actual item.
