I loved Wind Waker. It actually made me cry  It's the only Zelda game I've played to do so. I didn't care a lot for Twilight Princess. The wolf parts didn't bother me and I loved the Twilight Kingdom and Zant, but the rest of it was just okay. There is an air fortress dungeon that I absolutely hated. Tears of the Kingdom reminds me of it, so I don't know if I'll pick that one up. Def getting Animal Crossing though and maybe I will get the new Story of Seasons... I had a knee jerk reaction to it when I first saw it, but I think it's because I love Trio of Towns so much and Wonder Life is different. I think they should have kept the same kind of design from ToT... but, whatever. It might not be so bad.

I found myself humming a theme from an anime.  I wasn't sure exactly what song it was, because it's in Japanese, but I thought I'd try the song I was thinking of and see if it was right.  It was. :)  I was surprised that I was able to hum the melody close enough that I would recognize the song.

Some leaked information about the next Sims 4 expansion pack was found, and one of the Sims Gurus confirmed it.

We. Are. Getting. HORSES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :frolic:

The Guru said there would be other animals too but didn't specify. Most people are thinking sheep and maybe goats. Maybe some other birds. Ducks are already in the game as object spawners for ponds but it would be cool to have them on your property walking around and stuff.

But yeah. HORSES! I can't wait! It's going to be released this year. There will be another two kits released this year too. They are really pumping out content. I think they are feeling the pressure from Life by You and ParaLives. Life by You looks amazing in particular. I feel like ParaLives has already been around for a long time but we are just getting gameplay details now. Anyway, if The Sims is feeling pressure, that's a good thing. We've been asking for a lot of this stuff they've been putting out for a long time. Wanting horses go back to Cats & Dogs and it really felt like an impossibility. But here we are!

Even though I'm sick, I went to say hello to my father, who had come to my brother's house to build a new outdoor terrace for the sauna. I stood a little further away from dad than usual and we were outside, so at least he won't get this flu from me. It was nice to chat for a while and see him! I think the last time I saw my father was around Christmas and this year we have only spoken by phone.

(He had a bruise on his chin, a scabbed wound under his nose and his left hand was bruised and slightly swollen. He had fallen very badly while cycling on Saturday, but luckily no bones and no teeth had been broken! The bike helmet definitely saved him from worse injuries!) :whew:

Did I already tell you that my uncle has been home for a few days and is feeling a little better?  :)

That's great news about your uncle! It's nice you got to see your dad too :)

With my PC out of work, I've been using my mom's old laptop. It's a nice laptop but it's mainly for basic tasks. It's not a gaming machine at all. I've really been missing some games, so I signed up for GeForce Now and can play a bunch of games! :frolic: Unfortunately, most of my Steam library isn't on GeForce Now, but I can still play Planet Zoo, Going Mediaeval and some other favorites :)

I cleaned all day yesterday until I physically couldn't anymore. It's nice to have a clean kitchen and bathroom and vacuumed floors :)

:joy: On Thursday, it rained almost all day (but there was no thunder at all)! That amount is still not enough for dryness, but at least it took the heat away and refreshed the mind.  :)

A lady parked her bright orange Smart Car (those little bitty stubby cars) across the street. It's so cute!
