My daughter has a friend over for a play date, they are both 10. Friend mentioned old movies from the 80's 90's were so much better than today so I asked if she had seen MLP? She loves it! So I had my daughter show her friend my collection closet and she was so happy to see that!
What a joy to see kids trying to find all the unicorns in my collection and respecting them too!
Plus, I am cool and dorky. Yeah!

I am so waiting for that to happen to me someday. That is so cool. I would be doing cartwheels in my mind.

That's so sweet. 2 years ago we had my son's birthday party at our house and he invited 18 kids from his class at school (I know, it was way too many kids), both boys and girls. I have all the G3's and some other old toys like my cup cake dolls in bins in the bonus room for my daughter to play with. Plus my office on the main floor is open and full of my collections. All the little girls LOVED my G1's in my office and my Rainbow Brite dolls and adored the Cup Cake dolls etc. It was so heartwarming to see a new generation loving these toys as much as I had. They were confused at first that I collected toys but thought it was really cool. They were a bunch of 7 year olds.
