What's up with Royal Ribbon on the new Fashion Styles?
I got her recently because she was about 6 dollars or so on Amazon. I wasn't going to go wild for her because she's rarely in the show, and she's another pink pony with purple hair. But when I got her and de-boxed her I noticed that like...things have gone WAY weird with her on the way to being 'for sale'.
Can you spot the differences in this photo?

loginThe PICTURE pony is nicer than what's in the box because:
1. Symbol is bigger AND has 2 bows that are multi colored and fun (see up close inset)
2. Eyes on the pony are like way too big?
3. Eyes are also printed too close together/too far to the front of he head? (toy looks cross-eyed, photo looks normal-er)
4. Tilted QR Cutie heart foot thing
5. Eye color is different toy to box
Randomly different:
The cartoon of her has purple eyes, the BOX photo of her has blue eyes and then the actual toy we got is back to purple. Her eye color isn't that big of a deal but it's odd to see it switch out a couple times like that. Neither is the tilted QR mark, but it's still a difference.
Why is the toy hair always NOT like the show? (neither photo nor what you got)
She clearly has 2 tones of lavender hair in her show picture.
You never see her symbol in the show (so they had to make one up, that's fine) But why pick such a tiny, afterthought-boring one? They CLEARLY had a better one in use.
Why does she not get her show outfit?
Sure it's simple as the cartoon pic there shows but at least give the signature cameo necklace to the toy?
I know they wanted everything to follow the snap on skirts shirts theme here, so why EVEN PICK Royal Ribbon for the line? Pick somepony else who doesn't have signature clothing if you're not going to use it. That carrot yellow one always in town or do a unicorn from Starlight Glimmer's town. It's not like there's no ponies to pick from in the show. If you're going to ignore her hair, her signature outfit AND not bother with her symbol....why even choose the pony at all?
*Also note that Photo Finish (A blue pony, I MUST have her!) her camera-shutter symbol is much better in prototype than in person. They reduced the colors and made it silly tiny for some reason.
We've had other differences before like the Coco Pom-El jointed toy, but I think this one racks up the most.
