What was your favorite pony toy (or character) as a kid?

My favorite character was (and is) Twilight, I was pretty young when the g4 toys came out, and Twilight was the first one that I got because I loved her character. I played with her so much, she used to be so much cuter with her saddle basket and pet! Even though the head was a different shade purple then her body.


What was your favorite pony as a kid and why? Pictures are encouraged!

Too hard to pick just one. I think maybe my first ever pony Snuzzle, or baby Surprise or baby Fifi. I adored the baby accessories.

My favorite pony was G2 Sky Skimmer.

Looks like my childhood was two generations before you! lol But I was a 90's kid and G2 was basically my childhood heard. Unfortunately they seem to be the hardest to find for good prices these days so I no longer have any. But I'd love to have a nice collection some day. I loved their slim bodies and gem eyes. I adore them. I wish I would have gotten into G3 but I was older by then and grown out of ponies unfortunately.

I Would pick G1 Surprise. I always have liked her and her pranks. The fact that Danny is her best friend made the relationship between them special.

Was and always will be Gusty. She was my first pony and has always had a special place in my heart.

I remember I loveddddd G1 Firefly, and then eventually G3 Minty, amongst some others uvu, this was all based on the tv shows though, I never owned any of the toys

G3 Minty may not be my childhood favorite but she will ALWAYS be one of my favorite ponies. And I think a lot of other people's as well!

My favorite as a kid was Tink-a-Tink-a-Too!  She was my first pony, and she's still one of my very favorites!  I found her color and symbol very appealing, plus her pose is very cute!  She was almost always the "main character" in my games.  Waterfire was another big favorite of mine (in fact, she still is!).  Not only is she gorgeous, her backcard talks about her loving books!  She was pretty much perfect in my eyes, plus she was great with the Butterfly Island playset which was my favorite!  Island Delight, too, was very popular in my childhood herd.  I won her in a horse show as a prize, so that made her very special to me!  Even all these years (and manyyy horse shows) later, she's still the most fun prize I've ever won at a horse show   Pink Sunsparkle, Star Catcher (shiny wings version), Rainbow Dash (G3). and Cotton Candy (G3) were also favorites.  Honestly, all of the ponies I loved as a kid are still my favorite G3s, although they have been joined by other ponies that I have developed an appreciation for over the years!

In all the plays I had atleast these ponies to my memory. I did love many more, but didint always play with them.

G1 Windy was my fav! She was "the leader" of my ponies and always knew what to do, though I wish I could remeber specific situations she would help with...

My favorite in my childhood herd was Sweet Stuff. She was very specially to me. I received her second hand, so I was completely unaware at the time that there was an entire line of Twinkle Eyes. In fact, I never saw any others until more than a decade later with the popularization of the internet. So to me she was unique.

The same was the case for my second favorite childhood pony, Morning Glory. She was my only flutter (again received second-hand), and I never saw any other flutter pony toys as a child.

Of course in both cases, I knew there must be others since I watched the cartoons religiously. I just never saw any of them in toy form. In fact, to this day, the only additional Twinkle Eyes I've seen in person have been the ones that I've bought within the last year. I've never owned another flutter pony, so my childhood Morning Glory is still the only flutter pony I've ever seen and held (I just realized this as I was typing).

My favorite pony as a kid was G1 Baby Brightbow. She was the leader of my baby pony herd, although she often got into trouble with the dinosaurs and her "mother" Rosy Love.
